Performances like this one from Brimah make you wonder, why can't it be every game (or at least most)? Gotta give props, he had energy and intensity, and protected the rim like no other player in this league.

He's gotta keep his head up against Cincy, they will go at him to try to get fouls.

Brimah had a good second half on defense and some a big rebound and hoop, but we need his running mate KF to come out of his deep freeze. KF is so lost right now and we need him tomorrow if we hope to beat Cincy. AB also had that nice slip pass to CV in the lane. I don't think I have seen that before. He normally just goes up with that weak hook shot.

No one hates Amida Brimah, some are just more realistic than others! Awful first half.

Great run as soon as he came back in the 2nd half made a HUGE difference on that end, then the tip in. Credit where credit it due. Big help.

They abandoned the plan of throwing anything into him tonight, also no drive and dish to Brimah. Guys starting to know the teams limiting factors. Amida stayed true to what he does best and gave us big lifts when we needed it. Good game.

AB has been playing well the past few games. Yesterday was weird because UCONN kept feeding him even though he can't really post of consistently. Not his fault.

He's a seven foot tall blind squirrel that changes way more shot than he blocks. And he blocks a lot. Perhaps you didn't notice the lay up line that Houston had against Enoch.

Perhaps you didn't notice how they played in the first half to gain the lead with Enoch in the game? Steve changed a coupe shots, got a couple great rebounds in traffic in the first half when we took that lead. They played a decent half each, which is fine.

Don't get crazy, he played pretty good but you don't suddenly look like you know something we don't.

Amida is a beast.

When utilized correctly he is a problem for any team in America.

8 more to go before Jalen and Amida are ready for the NBA.

Steve also had some nice screens. And blocked out for boards more than he even got. Also drew 3-4 fouls.

He saved us in that first half. He's showing some signs, even if thehe's were small ones

Yep good call on the screens, he's getting better little by little. But both had awful halves too. But while there was a "lay up line" it wasn't all Enoch or AB a lot was on Facey who had a very ugly defensive night. Missed help assignments and couldn't guard anyone. Have a feeling he's going to come back tonight though, just a gut.

AB was very solid tonight, now if Facey can get it going, this team can do some damage.

Tonight was a team effort, everyone contributed. If Vance Jackson can improve on this game, then we definitely have a shot at winning the next two games. He really came alive in this game, as did Vital and Enoch. Brimah played well tonight. I should not have to say that though for a senior.

This! It's called highlight bias – we all remember the ridiculous **** he tried to do in the post vs. USF and it colors the way people talk about his game as a whole.

He played a total of 13 mins and had 4 PTs, 3 boards and 2 blocks. The only stat line he dominated was PFs with 4.

He played 13 minutes, how is that solid? Imagine if 'Bron was such a stupid player that he couldn't play more than 15 mins in a playoff game because of foul trouble.

He had 2 of those points and most everything else when we needed it. No need to rain on the parade, he gets his due as he was a big part of keeping the distance on the scoreboard at a critical time.

It more than the stats. He anchored the middle really well last night forcing the entire Houston offense off it's game. The defensive intensity on the perimeter was matched by his stopping players from driving to the hoop. Only Gray had any success against us.

Yes Fleudy exactly. Hey, like many times throughout his career, I wanted to strangle him in the first half with some his usual stuff, but you have to give him the kudo's he deserves when he throws a run like that up for us in the 2nd half. I mean the way things were going when he reentered the game, we could have easily been tied or even behind had he not helped shift the momentum back our way. Nice job, happy for the kid.

He didn't even play a 3rd of the game. How can he be considered some huge factor?

He's such a clueless player he can't keep himself on the floor in a big game.

You know you're talking to a guy who's discussed "clueless" and him in the same sentence before a couple of times right(hmmm couple hundred lol)? I guess if you didn't notice what he brought to the table during that stretch in the 2nd half we now have someone more clueless.
