UConn hasn't had a good track record of signing kids who came for "midnight madness/first night". I guess our students aren't loud & rowdy enough.

too funny, neither have we. Boat and Tyler Harris were both at ours last year, and Austin was at our this year.

Anyone who has seen Ledo play in person would laugh out loud at the notion that he couldn't start anywhere in the country. And the experts ranked Kris Dunn ahead of OC for what its worth. I guess we can judge for ourselves in a few weeks.

Hmmmm, who to trust on this one? Calhoun or the "experts." Hmmmmmmm. Let's see: Jeremy Lamb, Ben Gordon, Emeka Okafor, Kemba Walker. Hmmmmmmmmmmm?????

Charlie V and Boone play the same positions but they're very different players and were different players as freshmen back in 03-04. Boone was a great second rebounder and Charlie was an emerging inside out threat. Not to mention, Charlie was out for the first semester, so he was late to break into the fold.

In those three other cases you're dealing with a freshman and juniors/seniors, which is different in this case with two freshmen.

Well if you are going to add to the equation and include class and style of play. I have nothing. UConn has never had two freshmen enter who were the same exact player, with one being more talented.

Allen and Sheffer were the same class
