Look at the schools he is looking to transfer to. I seriously doubt this is Bradley bailing on UConn and Calhoun. I think this is more that Bradley realizing that his skill level is more suited for the bottom of the D1 basketball and not the best conference in the land. No need to attack the kid!

I don't mean to sound like a di*k, because I don't know how close he is to his grandmother, but this seems to be a popular excuse among transfers hoping to play right away.

"I'm not happy at UConn what should I do? Hey! Grandma has cancer! I mean, that's terrible, grandma has cancer. I must now transfer to somewhere in Tennessee so I could be with her and they'll grant me a waiver!"

If this is truly because of his grandma, God bless him and good luck. But if he's just using it as a convenient excuse, I really don't understand. He would have played decent mintues this year at a big time program. I think it was a great opportunity for him.

Wow and I was really hoping he would battle TO for the starting Center position. We really need a big in a bad way now. It was our strength last year and now is a huge weakness. We need big bodies badly.

Think for a minute. A young man is surrendering a full ride scholarship to a top tier pharmacy program. This would be analogous to dropping out of any Ivy league school to go to community college. There's more here than a desire for minutes or dreams of a pro basketball career. (Why enroll in such a difficult program?) To paraphrase an old adage: Do not assign to maliciousness that which can be explained by personal hardship. I cannot believe he wanted to make this decision, nor that it was an easy one to reach. There are things in play here you know nothing about and making snide remarks is not appropriate.

This hurts...A LOT. There's now only two true bigs on the roster. You have to figure Roscoe will definitely start at the four, but that only leaves one other big to back him up, unless Daniels really bulks up and can play the 4.

I'm pretty sure he's a finance major, not a pharmacy major.

The kid was willing to give up his schollie. He is a blue blooded husky wherever he goes. Good kid and certainly he deserves the best 'right away'. No complaints from me.

Really hate to see him go - he seemed like the perfect program guy. Smart kid, would graduate, and would hopefully be a valuable bench guy the crowd could genuinely root for. The Beverlys, Tooleses and Klaibers who actually finish four years without much PT are much too rare.
