He'd get a sixth year of eligibility, so he'd have four years of eligibility, and then have three years of eligibility if he transfers.
He has seen 3 teammates leave school in the last three weeks. Oriakhi outright said that the ban played a big role in his decision, and reports said that the ban played a role in Drummond's decision as well. It's not exactly preposterous to think that could affect him, instability can create a domino effect in college basketball.

Michael Bradley, who had surgery to repair a fractured ankle in October, has been practicing, but is still limping, Calhoun said. It may take a year for the injury to fully heal, so he may not play in a game this season.

Calhoun said Bradley (who fractured his ankle back in the fall) is still noticeably limping in practice.
“There’s a chance that ankle won’t be better for a year," Calhoun said. "He really had extensive surgery, he was out an incredibly long time, so there’s a chance he may not get into a game this year.”
That is all from January and February.
