Mick has never had a problem being the guy who will say whatever he wants and rubbing people the wrong way. Such a strange thing to say at this moment.
I pay some attention to the rankings, but not much. If the Huskies play well they will win most of the times and if they win a lot everything else will take care of itself. Go back to 2002 when the Huskies were not ranked in the TOP 25 at any point in the year, or maybe once, but when they won the BE tourny that year and a had good BE regular season record, I knew they would get a #2 seed. Damn, I wish they had a betting website where I could have put $ on it. I don't always get it right, but that one I didWe can argue about this all day. With the exception of blowing out Marquette we’ve been a fairly ugly basketball team, even when we win, for months. I think that factors in. Today was more of the same. If we shoot even “ok” we win by 24.
Just keep winning and it won’t matter.

I remember the Big East kicking the shart out of some of these top Big 12 teams.Big East snubbed

NCAA March Madness Men's Bracket Preview Takeaways: Indiana too high, committee snubs Big East
From No. 1 seeds to snubs, we react to the selection committee's early top 16www.cbssports.com
I remain astonished by the number of Big Ten teams they predict to get in. Lunardi has 9 Big Ten teams. Providence would be the 3rd best team in that league. It should be a six bid league at best. The SEC certainly doesn't deserve 8 nor does the Big 12. He has the ACC and Big East with 5. None of it makes any sense.I remember the Big East kicking the shart out of some of these top Big 12 teams.
We all know the Big 12 is the best conference this year but you can easily make a case the Big East is second best. It's certainly second best at the top.
who do you think deserves to get more teams in out of curiosity? I find myself annoyed at the amount of teams from the ACC and big 10 that they are letting in but i certainly dont want more pac12 teams in the tournament. When looking at teams on the outside looking in that i think are dangerous, i cant really come up with anything besides texas techI remain astonished by the number of Big Ten teams they predict to get in. whether a win is home or away is already used to determine what quadrant it falls into, so how can the committee use that factor twice? a quad 1 win is a quad 1 win, once that is established it shouldnt matter if it was home or away.If the committee is placing a major emphasis on road wins against tournament teams we won't stack up well at all.

Indiana was one of those joke teams they had ahead of us.Last night had some pretty favorable results with 2x 3-seeds and 2x 4-seeds losing. MAJOR opportunity for us to jump up tonight with a big win against PC.
Yeah my initial thought is we jump Indiana/Xavier and really close the gap on Iowa StateIndiana was one of those joke teams they had ahead of us.
We should leapfrog them easily with a win.
They don't. It's a bit of "That Creighton's so hot right now".I haven't paid attention to this but how do the seeds they have the Big East teams at right now make sense?
Thanks for doing this.Since release up until PC game. Bold is a loss.

Yeah missed that one. Also lost to BC
You hammer Tennessee for going 1-2 but leave ISU who went 0-3?I would move them around like this not in order:
1: Bama, Houston, Purdue, Kansas
2: UCLA, Texas, Zona, KSU
3: Baylor, Marquette, ISU, Zags
4: SMU, UConn, Indiana, X
5: Tennessee, Miami, UVA, Creighton/ISU/SDSU
Nope, I had ISU in there twice. Moved them to the end of the five line with Creighton and SDSU but forgot to remove them from the three line. I hammered Tennessee, ISU and UVA. Remove them from the three and move everyone up a spot, though if Indiana holds on I could actually see them jumping to the three line even with the loss, win at Purdue would be huge. You hammer Tennessee for going 1-2 but leave ISU who went 0-3?
Also I was confused by SMU, but I figured you mean St Marys
To think that three years ago, Hood-Schifino was committed to Pitt. We offered after he decommited that summer.Beating Purdue is going to put Indiana back in front of us.
