Both the Big 12 and Big 10 are way overrated. I saw one projected bracket with 9 Big 10 teams in the field. They also had 7 teams in from the ACC which is an absolute joke.
Your posting in the past week has tone & timing that doesn't just have the PC trolls going, "Damn, he's good," but also conjures a sense of them adding, "Thanks for showing us how it's done," and you replying, "Nice you noticed. Always trust..."We did this to ourselves.
But….The metrics ?
They both play in better leagues. The thing is, Indiana and Kansas St also did it to themselves. Kansas St lost to Butler! By double figures! And have lost 5 of their last 7.
Indiana also had a stretch where they lost 5 of 7 and got swept by Northwestern.
All 3 teams had crappy stretches, but our good stretch was the best of the 3 and our numbers reflect that.
If we lost to butler you’d riotThey both play in better leagues.
Nah. Losing to butler on road is better than losing to St. John’s at homeIf we lost to butler you’d riot
Okay?Nah. Losing to butler on road is better than losing to St. John’s at home
Yup, very concerning.Looks like the metric they used specifically for us was the AP top 25 poll.
Someone else can confirm but I thought top 4 seeds in each region get some preference on locationThere is very little difference between 5 and 4 seeds. It's really about matchups in the 1st round. Now if UConn get upgraded to a 3 seed then that would be better for them. Probably need to win BET.
Unless we win the BE TourneyCommittee won't gift us MSG. Need a run to leave no doubt. It's hard to argue us above X since they beat us twice.
IU had two starters go down with injuries mid season. They are starting to play as a team now with an all American putting up some big numbersThe thing is, Indiana and Kansas St also did it to themselves. Kansas St lost to Butler! By double figures! And have lost 5 of their last 7.

Told everyone they were bs. This is a lesson in OOC scheduling going forward. We did this to ourselves.

That we shouldn't play in big tournaments pre big east conf play? What is the ooc scheduling fix ? Not to play cupcakes ?Told everyone they were bs. This is a lesson in OOC scheduling going forward.
Less cupcakes and better quality cupcakes. The tournaments and challenges are fine. That we shouldn't play in big tournaments pre big east conf play? What is the ooc scheduling fix ?

UConn is right there and should be in if they just take care of business over the next few weeks
This makes no sense. When you look at our total body of work, we are pretty solidly a top-10 or 15 team. We have only dropped in rankings/seedlings because we haven’t played as well within the conference. We have great OOC wins! And the advanced metrics - which could be overrating us or underrating others, I don’t know - should predict our performance going forward, not our seeding.Told everyone they were bs. This is a lesson in OOC scheduling going forward.
