Bowl Games (Non-UConn)

Miami player turned his head away from the receiver and hit was mostly shoulder. Real bad call.
The officials have been bad across the board tonight. Two worst I can remember were a missed last hit by Miami near the end of the first half and a missed pass interference against Ole Miss on a long throw in the third quarter. But they have not had a good night to say the least.

They missed Miami shoving in the back Ol Miss player in first half when he was OOB. Clear personal foul.

Miami has more talent and should be winning (they just retook lead as I'm typing this), but man, penalties galore, and often at the wrong time.

Pretty sure we need Miami to win it all and cause more Acc dissension. Miami will be looking to leave if they win a national title.

Ole Miss tackles like old men. They've given Miami so many yards with their poor tackling. I Want Miami To Lose!!!

Miami is just so undisciplined.... if they did the little things... or the OC calls a disciplined game, they're up by double digits; instead... they're down 3 with 3 to go.

Absolutely no Ole Miss. I want to see the SEC stub their toe in every P4 playoff matchup... the more they pull their teams out of direct comparisons with other conferences, the more contrast chronic under-achievement in matchups of nominal equals draws.

The SEC is 2-6 against other P4 schools in the playoff --- 8 total bids (3 in 2024 & 5 in 2025)
Texas over Clemson; Texas over Arizona State
Ohio State over Tennessee, Ohio State over Texas, Notre Dame over Georgia, Miami over Texas A&M, Indiana over Alabama, Miami over Ole Miss

The Big Ten by comparison is 6-3 -- 7 total bids (4 in 2024 & 3 in 2025)
Ohio State over Tennessee, Penn State over SMU, Ohio State over Texas, Ohio State over Notre Dame, Oregon over Texas Tech, Indiana over Alabama
Notre Dame over Indiana, Notre Dame over Penn State, Miami over Ohio State

Head to Head: the Big Ten has the edge 3-0; of 8 total SEC teams in the playoff only one; 2024 Texas has managed any wins over another P4 conference team; The Big Ten has had 4 of their 7 total bids beat at least one other P4 conference team (to be fair neither Oregon 2024 nor Oklahoma & Georgia 2025 had a chance to beat a different P4 opponent, losing to a conference opponent in their first game played)

Updated... SEC now 2-6 against the other P4 schools in the playoff.
