14 penalties for 100 yards. Please don't bring that kind of play to Storrs.
The Hawaii bowl is always one of the more entertaining bowl games. Always on Christmas Eve, you sneak off into the living room during your Christmas Eve party and maybe a couple of friends/relatives will join you as everyone is stuffed from eating. An opportunity to crash on the couch then you wake up in the 2nd half.Down 21-0, Hawaii ties a great game, trades leads with Cal, then wins it wins it 35-31 with a ballsy call and TD pass by back up QB with 10 rebounds remaining. Back up only in the game for a play due to player of the game starter’s injury in prior play. MWC > ACC
That freshman quarterback they have is something else - he is just a winner. If he stays there and stays healthy maybe there's a Cinderella story in their future over the next 3 years. The Hawaii bowl is always one of the more entertaining bowl games. It wouldn't be the Hawaii bowl without Hawaii and Timmy Chang.
It's SB VII vs Redskins! It's the New Mexico Dolphins.
Meanwhile, in FCS…
A lot of third and fourth stringers out there.Just watched a few highlights from other bowls. There is pro bowl like tackling everywhere going on.
Maybe, but it seems like it affected the Sec more. I don’t expect a Sec team to win the title this year. I don’t expect a Sec team in the title game.I don’t think SEC schools were the only ones paying players. That implies the B1G wasn’t either
I am rooting for Duke - never thought I would type that... Just saw Duke QB run 20, and at end of run, spun ball and did a little first down pointing...Duke player gets ejected in the first half for what appeared to be for him spiting on the ground near the ref's feet. Not sure that is a rule violation but I could be wrong.
