That would be something if we filled this last scholarship for 2019 in more than a month or so.

I’m totally letting the wish be the father of the thought here, but his use of “not necessarily a short term fix” leads me to think we’re trying to get a reclass and, given our focus on Cliff recently, that’s where my mind went.

Not short term rules out grad transfer. A still uncommitted 2019 2 or 3 star player couldn’t/shouldn’t be considered a “fix” either. So What could it mean if not a 2020 reclassification?

Anyone have a list of eligible reclass players at their fingertips?

I’ve spoken about this to a few folks via DM but I guess it’s time to mention it here: I’ve heard lots of talk about a reclass from one of the 2020 bigs, but can’t figure out who it is. Others I’ve talked with have heard the same.

Nobody can figure out who it is, tho.

Can someone provided a quick list of the 2020 big we’re in on? We can run a quick search of twitter etc to see if there have been any whispers of a re-class for any of them.

Hinted at it, but this is from early July:
One reason the pace can go slowly now is because Omoruyi will stay in the Class of 2020. Olivier had hinted in April that a reclassification could possibly happen. The youngster is an outstanding student and only needed a small amount on classes to qualify for the move. Despite that, his guardian said the decision has been made to stay where he is at, thus slowing down the recruiting process somewhat.

"He's staying 2020, just because basketball wise he could use another year just to solidify who he is and get better. Academically he has taken care of everything, but he is staying 2020 though, " Mr. Olivier informed us.

Springs would be interesting because he transferred from McDuffie to Brewster. It was my understanding that the staff had some other priorities at forward before Springs, so I would be surprised if it were him. He needs to develop his body and wouldnt really do much for us next year.
