Not disputing that. The poster mentioned “somebody like Joey”. You are a veteran poster, have you seen the incoming freshmen play in person?
I have seen so many people believe the hype surrounding freshmen in the past that I have learned to take a wait and see approach.

I was actually thinking Ross would be the closest comp. He's a low usage spot up shooter. I dont think he's even a moderately similar player to joey, but if we're just talking bench shooting, then Ross is our guy. If he's ready to get minutes (if he knows his defensive rotations), he will also be a disruptive defender with his size/length.

Ball, imo, is a very different player.

I haven’t seen them play in person, but I think those with a worried perception of freshman come from the 2021 debacle.

Outside of that freshman usually do very well for us early. Especially as highly ranked as someone like Solo is. He might not have a similar game to Joey but I can see him being like Boatright.
