.....we passed the time by getting in contact with Dana Dingle, the former UMass standout. No, not to talk about his nationally-ranked Minutemen, but rather about Jessie Govan, the 6-foot-10 Class of 2015 forward who is on UConn's wish list.

Dingle has coached Govan the past two seasons for the New York Lightning AAU program. He says that whichever program winds up with Govan will get a good one.

Hard to say though. He's 15 at 6-10. What if he grew 10 inches in a year at age 14? The kind of body issues such a kid might have would be very difficult to deal with.

I thought the same as you until it was reported he's 15. At 6'10" and 15 years old, there can be all sorts of variables that we're not aware of.

He's slow footed for a college player. He's pretty athletic for a 15 year old in high school. He's no Drummond, but who is.
