boatright is fascinating to watch, an absolute blur in the open court and also a defensive playmaker, he picks up the opponents best guard every game. he's also has played pass first, very lethal

If and when he wants he can be a pain in the freakin butt to the other teams offense......problem is he likes to make plays and take chances on steals too much but not last night.......a few times he made Wilkebin crazy making him change dribbles and not penetrate, he can be real good when he stays between his guy and the basket w/o taking chances......a complete water bug!

...UConn absolutely needs to get some more points from this kid if we want to be playing past the first week of the tournament. Especially with Calhoun in a deep funk.

You really expect Omar's shooting slump to last through the season, the league tourney and into the dance?

I see Boat as making improvements in slowing his game down some, but still often is going too fast. There are times his moves are less effective because he has made 3 of them before the defender has even reacted, leaving him no more open than when he started. His defense is improved and he seems to be working a lot harder at it. For some reason last night, he kept swinging his head left, then right, then left (and so on) looking for the screener and sometimes lost his man because he was so focused on the screener. I think he is doing better at getting open looks, but he is just not shooting a high percentage on those 10-15 foot shots that he has worked so hard to get open to shoot. I see us really needing him to improve his scoring efficiency (as others have said).

It was very encouraging the way he set up Bazz for that big 3 late in the game. That was really smart and unselfish, exactly what the team needed.

He needs to be like the PG on the women's team. She is a midget-but fast and a bad ass and makes very few mistakes.

What he really could use regarding that is playing against teams they can beat by 60 then he could probably do all of those things she does!!;)
