No UConn

To make it more clear:
“Right now I just recent cut it down to Missouri, Xavier, Marquette, Arkansas, Louisville and Iowa State and I still have Bowling Green as an option if I want to go back,” Turner told 247Sports.

If you don't include the dozens of other kids who haven't even announced that they are transferring yet.

That's really weird.
Not really. The MAC is a respectable mid-major conference and Bowling Green was one of the better teams in the MAC last year. With Turner back, they now return 7 rotation players including four of their five starters.

The best team in the conference, Akron, had five seniors graduate so the conference is up for grabs. He's the team's leader and wants to have a chance to win with the team he's been with all along.

Very cool and kudos to him. I'll be rooting for them (along with Buffalo) in the MAC.

This is a great story and what I would assume to be a great kid by this decision. Hope he gets to the dance with BG, he deserves it for sure. Courted by the best but his friends and memories kept him home, great stuff!
