I guess they have to give these awards to the other teams in order to build their self esteem within the league. We all know what Caroline, Dorka, and Evina have done along with Olivia, Ayliah and Christyn was extraordinary.

Some may question some of the other awards ?!?, but THIS ONE was a no-brainer. From wire to wire, Morrow was THE BEST freshman in the league. She set conference records (consecutive double doubles) that may never be broken.....as a freshman. Good heavens, she's unstoppable now. What is she going to be like as a junior/senior?

It would be somewhat ironic if Evina Westbrook is the highest WNBA draft choice from the Big East, after not receiving any recognition. I think she earned at least sixth player of the year.
