That’s $64k in 2023 dollars and a 42% increase on 45k lolThey didn't say very difficult. They said "you can't live on that." I lived in Atlanta around 2015 and made $50k. I lived by myself in a brand new apartment building and had enough left over to hang out with friends on weekends. The statement was just what I said it was - out of touch.
Addae-Wusu is one of my more favorite non-UConn Big East players.
Something about his positionless size and his combination of strength/defense with offensive versatility.
Glad he's staying in the conference.
He must be really connected.Wow really going out on a limb there
Maybe Stewart and Ross really are more ready in Hurley’s eyes than I figured. Otherwise the lack of urgency to add shooting has been pretty hard to understand
Name one star guard in the portal that is in the draft process.Or could it be that we're waiting to see who withdraws from the NBA draft where the best potential transfers are right now? I'm going to say "yes". No need to rush here.
Your setting yourself up for disappointment Hurley is not going to dip into the portal for “big time” type talent until Andre and Newton have made their decisions, and no player of this stature will make a decision with the situation so unclear. Wait it out you never know who’s going to jump into the portal when. The staff will have a good plan for all the variables, sit back and relaxName one star guard in the portal that is in the draft process.
This is a dumb way to frame it since we're not looking for a star guard anyway, but RayJ Dennis from ToledoName one star guard in the portal that is in the draft process.
Butler now with SIX additions via the portal:
- Posh Alexander 6’0 200 SR from St. John’s 10.2p, 3.9r, 4.2a, 2.0s, 40 fg%, 23.2 3p%, 72.4 FT%
- Pierre Brooks 6’6 225 JR from Michigan State, former #68, 3.6p, 14.3 mpg, 32.4 3p%
- Jahmyl Telfort 6’7 224 SR from Northeastern, 16.4p, 4.5r, 2.2a, 1.0s, 32.1 3p% in 33.9 mpg
- DJ Davis 6’1 170 SR from UC Irvine, 15.0p, 40.2 3p%, 27.8 mpg
- Landon Moore 6’3 200 SO from St. Francis (PA), 13.1p, 2.8r, 3.6a, 36.0 3p% in 30.7 mpg
- Andre Screen 7’0 251 SR from Bucknell, 11.2p, 5.6r, 1.4a, 1.3b, 62.2 fg%
My point was that Hurley isn’t eyeing any players that are in the draft process (other than his own potential returnees) so the post I quoted was irrelevantThis is a dumb way to frame it since we're not looking for a star guard anyway, but RayJ Dennis from Toledo
I guess, but it's all a domino effect. I have no problem with waiting, especially since if Jackson and Newton both come back we're not bringing in any transfersMy point was that Hurley isn’t eyeing any players that are in the draft process (other than his own potential returnees) so the post I quoted was irrelevant
Butler now with SIX additions via the portal and their scholarships are now all filled.

If they both come back there would be one scholarship open still, and if they didn’t use it this roster would have almost no shooting.I guess, but it's all a domino effect. I have no problem with waiting, especially since if Jackson and Newton both come back we're not bringing in any transfers
Well Hurley said the plan next year is to only use 11 or 12 scholarships, so I wouldn't get your hopes upIf they both come back there would be one scholarship open still, and if they didn’t use it this roster would have almost no shooting.
He did? Wow I missed that. That would be running the risk of having huge spacing and shooting problems, but after this year I can’t complain.Well Hurley said the plan next year is to only use 11 or 12 scholarships, so I wouldn't get your hopes up
Was during his press conference last week after all the NBA draft decisionsHe did? Wow I missed that. That would be running the risk of having huge spacing and shooting problems, but after this year I can’t complain.

Karaban, Newton, Romoglou, Ross, Stewart, Castle, Ball and our next outside threat, Clingan, might take issue with that dire forecast. If they both come back there would be one scholarship open still, and if they didn’t use it this roster would have almost no shooting.
