Big East Tournament Thread

I was hoping PC might have a little magic in them just for fun after losing their coach. Especially after their offensive performance last night. Still a half to go but it doesn't look good so far.

Could it possibly be the because of the UConn team that showed up on March 7th for chance to be co-winner of the BE regular season title.

I expect us to come out on fire, but I thought the same on Saturday. We are doooooomed.

With a busy day at work I had this Providence-St. John's game recording and promised myself I wouldn't Google the score or look at this thread so I could watch it later without knowing the result. I caved by Googling it at different points in the game. I saw the game started out as 20-5, St. John's and now it's a 24 pt deficit. It looks like I can watch a few minutes and then hit "Delete Recording". Oh well.

Cool story I told, I know. I am disappointed. I wanted a close competitive game.

PC outshooting SJU while losing by 15 and being outrebounded by 20(!!) tells you all you need to know.

St. John’s isn’t a bad team, and they’re scrappy but everybody makes it so easy for them. They do not have a real offense.

Nope, and this is what will kill Pitino in the tourney again. You have to execute an offense in the tourney.

Hey. Pee C fires coach?

Fair and open season for an intra league poaching.

Storrsroars' concern of him maybe being a duplicate Solo is reasonable. He's also just a freshman. He's 6'7". Perfect size for a 3 and I bet our staff can coach him up and over to that position. We will know within weeks if that spot will be open next year.

26/27 starting 5 of Demary, Solo, Vaaks, Colben Landrew and Reibe would be a yes please to me. Hope Mullins stays.

I’m pretty sure you don’t even understand the game. You might want to check out the Scripps National Spelling Bee though. More up your alley.
