That officiating was AWFUL (in favor of Marquette). They basically handed them the game, and Marquette still almost blew it by making like 25% of their free throws in the last 5 minutes. Pretty sure on that game winning steal the kid kicked the ball too. Pretty bad. Great game though

I was not impressed at all with Curbelo tonight. I thought he was trying to do way too much and do everything by himself. Illinois did a ton of complaining and putting their heads down instead of hustling back on defense. Obviously they are a different team with Kofi, but that’s just my observation from this one game. Free throw shooting for Marquette was absolutely horrendous at the end of the game.

Wasn’t pretty at times but what a statement win for Shaka.
