Tonight may be the roughest night of the BE / B12 Battle. If we go 2-2 tonight, I think it'll be a solid outcome.

I was expecting last night to be the worst. Although I was really surprised that Villanova was only a 3.5 point underdog last night. I would have thought +6 going in was about right. Providence was +5.5.

UConn is going without Alex Karaban and they are in search of their first win against a "real" opponent. It's not the end of the season or the world if they don't beat Baylor, but urgency or desperation, whatever you want to call it, UConn needs this game against Baylor for their resume.

Unlike the last 2 years, UConn is not helping the Big East with their OOC play.

Appreciate you running these numbers, but you really need to add our loss to CO as a bad loss. It is not going to age well.

It's currently a Q2 loss. If it slips to Q3, he can update it.

I think any UCONN loss is a bad loss (realizing that UCONN is not going to go undefeated).

Kansas is 0-1 from the stripe. That is some special D. Creighton shooting 50% even from 3 so we'll see if they keep that up.

Marquette just tied it at 61-61 after being down around 10 for most of the game. There is a noticeable difference in how a team like Marquette, that has played together for years, plays defense compared to the rotisserie teams you are seeing in the Transfer Portal era. Marquette is not more talented than other Top 30 teams, but you can see the cohesion.

Marquette has gone as cold as you will see a Top 10 team ever go. They are missing multiple layups in addition to barely hitting the rim from 3.

The refs made the right call on the Essandoku/Hall collision, but all Refs need to stop rewarding players for throwing their head into another player's elbows to try to get the flagrant call. It is dangerous to both players.

An Iowa State player throws his head into a Marquette elbow trying to draw a flagrant, and he got hurt.

I’m sure I’m the only one here rooting for KU. Creighton, as always, is just a really hard place to play. Huge homecourt for them.

Still think Kansas will make some shots and this will be very close late.

Seton Hall in big trouble against NJIT. If it was a robotics competition, that would be expected. In basketball, not so good.
