Maybe Xavier isn't too bad? I know there was some angst over their season opening loss but Santa Clara isn't a bum team, they actually spend decently for a midmajor and they've had some talent roll through there the past few years

I had a feeling they were going to lose that game. Scheduling a top-100 team from a mid-major conference is not something a BE team should be doing.

Paging @kobe......

you suck ice hockey GIF by NHL

Watched the end of the X game. Whats with Tre Carroll? Cam Spencer on steroids. Is he always like that?

We can only hope this means we won't see Kobe again until next November
Paging Kobe…..I believe that’s a Catholic school whipping up on the “big time” Big 12 program yet again. Once again luckily he can root for Houston in the NCAAs…..

Lolololololol

Xavier is 11-2 against Cincinnati since Xavier joined the Big East.
But, but…..,Cincinnati plays in a better conference. So they are better, right????

Not only a Church League team, but one that was predicted to finish 8th or 9th in the conference. 😂

Cincinnati is also awful this year. Disgusting offense

I have watched parts of 5 Xavier games, and my take is that this is a really unlikable team. They are selfish offensively, especially Carroll, and don’t always play hard. Carroll is really good, but gives off the vibe that he cares more about his stats than winning.

This team can shoot. The numbers don’t tell the whole story because they take some bad shots, but there are 4 guys that you do not want to leave open.

They should have killed Cincinnati last night, but when they pulled up 13 points, they could have put the Bearcats away, but instead they played several minutes of hero ball, letting Cincinnati back in the game, and then the team basically stopped sharing the ball for the rest of the game.

I think I found Kobe on twitter.

It sounds mire like Cincinnati's version of Rutgers Al.

Kobe's premise is that it is better to be in a P4 conference than it is to have a successful athletic program.

What is Cinci anyway - a city school? The only thing that kept them moderately interesting was geographical alignment and some moderate history, the Kelce's. They're not going to win anything of significance at any point again.

5-2 today. Ultimately held serve.

Winners: Providence, Villanova, St. John's, DePaul, Seton Hall

Losers: Butler and Marquette

71-28 (16-22)
