I am not sure Creighton will be good this year either. I just think highly of Greg McDermott and the coaching staff and betting on them to get the most of their team. One thing McDermott has shown is that he can lead Creighton teams with a variety of different styles to the NCAAT.
McDermott sounded off on his team last for being soft. I’m not sure they’re very good, especially without McAndrew. I expect them to get rolled by anyone good.

May have put this somewhere else, but looks like Creighton's McAndrew out for year with foot. He's one of their better players, so they move closer to the bubble.
Where did you hear this? This is all I could find.

.-.
Not seeing the possibly out for the year tweet...
I posted it somewhere else - was some Creighton fan who said he had inside knowledge it was Lisfranc. Could have been BS. He does have a foot injury that's kept him out, but may not be severe.

It's some inside joke with Creighton fans, he's not actually out for the year

Butler is trying so hard to lose this game. One of there players put money down on SC

.-.
Okay night.

Butler wins, and Xavier loses.

39-15 (4-11)

Do you have the Gonzaga loss under 4-11 record? Big games against P4 for Providence, Butler, Xavier, Creighton, Seton Hall, and St John coming up.

No Gonzaga (and Dayton) are not P4.

We need to get out of the big east as soon as humanly possible
I read today that the State of Ct has a 2 billion dollar surplus. Maybe some of that can be used to fund UConn in a power conferece like SMU is doing.

SMU had massive private donors (whales) step up.

According to some measures, UConn's athletic department bleeds money and requires more subsidies than most.

Not sure if the State of CT would be comfortable authorizing more funds.

However, to your point, it might take something drastic with outside the box thinking to secure UConn's future in big time athletics.

Pretty sure that’s not going to happen

Meanwhile Georgetown rolls to 5-0 with their small forward Isiah Abraham getting the start: 23 min, 12 pts, 4-5 FG, 2-2 3PT, 2-2 FT, 5 Reb, 1 steal, 0 TO, 1 foul.

I know they played Wagner but for a kid we had that left to find playing time, he would be head and shoulders above Jacob Ross in the depth chart, Jayden Ross like numbers without the Jayden Ross like fouls.

Nice speculation lol

I think he’ll be better than both Ross and Stewart.

Being ahead of Jacob Ross means he still isn't really playing this year, that's where Furphy is. He made the right decision for him in all likelihood.

Looks like Marquette is going to pull it out against Central Michigan. Up 7 with 3 minutes left

Wow is Marquette not good this year.
Not at all so far. Got run out of the gym against Indiana. Lost to Maryland and Dayton. They've won their buy games but haven't looked good against real competition

Yeah. Not good when you can only win your buy games. Shaka needs to embrace the portal.

It hurts me so much but I’m rooting hard for PC to win this one today
