Kalkbrenner is good at what he does but he’s a very limited player
 
St John's making fruit look good. But then Girard airballs from 4 ft. Expecting a close game
 
Nemhard does that running quick layup so often I had no idea he could get up like that. That was some jam.

GAME OF THE YEAR!!!

WOW that last shot Black made really could have been called for the game tying 4 point play.....he did jump into the defender but definitely got hit on the elbow. I do not envy the referee that had to cover that play
 
curbelo just hit a huge three to (almost) end the half, and then immediately gave up a buzzer-beating and-1 layup on the other side. absolutely brutal.

He didn't get hit. He swung his elbow out and managed to graze the defender's jersey. Then he had a tantrum over it.

That would’ve been a crime to call that a foul. But man both those teams were impressive

Huge win for Creighton.
 
Man St. Johns got hosed on the last 2 possessions. Otherwise a painful game to watch.

Black really impressed. Arkansas' freshmen class is stacked. Three 5 stars inlcuding Black, Walsh, and Nick Smith Jr who is out currently (ranked #1 on 247). They will be a force throughout the season so great W for Creighton and the Big East.

St. John's is a lot of fun to watch. Organized chaos...

Curbelo and Posh are wild men, Soriano dunks everything.

Man the concussion really messed Curbelo up last year. Watched a lot of his games and he was awful. Totally different player this season.

Mintz was really the only cuse player with a pulse offensively and he is just out of control half the time.

Curbelo also just torched the middle of that zone and consistently found a wide open Soriano or 3 point shooter. Cuse is going to have some ugly losses against better teams this season and I’m here for it.

I don't enjoy St. John's style of play. I think we match up very well with them. I don't think they are very disciplined. The team has a very street ball vibe to it to that will leading to exciting spurts but a ton of turnovers and bad shots.

While Cuse has a very boring style of play that leads to a ton of turnovers and bad shots.
