And yet, multiple people took your post literally. That really doesn't tell you something?I mean when it’s something that outrageous it should translate. Cmon now even the AAC has never been a 1 bid league
Tells me this forum consists of a lot of old people. If this was Reddit people would have understand it was a jokeAnd yet, multiple people took your post literally. That really doesn't tell you something?
ok boomerTells me this forum consists of a lot of old people. If this was Reddit people would have understand it was a joke
Looks more and more like football success driving the basketball bus. Independents like UConn and Notre Dame too.Yeah this is an odd year so far. Some very good teams but none that look dominant (IMO, excluding UConn due to immense bias).
Deep group of good teams and yet there is a huge cliff as well.
Huge down year for the ACC and BE. Pac10 doesn’t look great either. BIG, SEC and Big 12 look great one week and not so great the next.
So will probably see some less than deserving teams get in from the P6 or a good handful of mid majors with good records but not any quality wins.
Ignore is a good thingWho gives a cr@p? We could be #1 all year and shizzle and all these other handwringers will constantly whine about how weak the conference is.
They should change the name of this place from the boneyard to the nebbishyard.
Villanova is going to have a monster turnaround.UConn, Creighton, Marquette, and Xavier are tournament teams. Not sure I see anyone else making it unless Nova has a monster turnaround
Plus a good conference is important for recruiting.Well in reality having a bunch of tournament teams in the Big East does help the 1 team we all care about. If UConn is playing 20+ games in the conference where none of those teams are in the tournament then UConn's NCAA Tournament seeding is going to suffer. And I'm sure we'd all like the Huskies to have a high seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Except this board is filled with hyperbolic morons who have terrible takes and double down on them sincerely.I mean when it’s something that outrageous it should translate. Cmon now even the AAC has never been a 1 bid league
I've said it a few times, and it bears repeating I guess...Just because you think it, it doesn't mean you need to type it. Also, The BY isn't Reddit. But I suppose someone needs age and wisdom to figure that one out.Tells me this forum consists of a lot of old people. If this was Reddit people would have understand it was a joke
Reddit, Twitter, Storrs Rd. Anywhere else would have known it was hyperbole after Creightons embarrassing loss.I've said it a few times, and it bears repeating I guess...Just because you think it, it doesn't mean you need to type it. As long as you learn from it junior, we'll get through it...lol.Reddit, Twitter, Storrs Rd. Anywhere else would have known it was hyperbole after Creightons embarrassing loss.
Sorry dad I shouldn’t have made that joke!
Hmmm!I mean when it’s something that outrageous it should translate. Cmon now even the AAC has never been a 1 bid league
With Creightons loss we are now a favorite in everyone of our remaining games according to Kenpom
Some people just can't tell a joke.Reddit, Twitter, Storrs Rd. Anywhere else would have known it was hyperbole after Creightons embarrassing loss.

It was. Since he told us so. Click on this link.I'm sorry, with all the stuff I've seen posted on this board, saying the Big East is a one bid conference would not even scratch the top 100 worse takes in the last 10 years
So I just assumed it was another bad take. Don't know the OP, his posting style, his sense of humor, any inside jokes..... I just know I've seen everything around here (except politics)
Somewhat of a to know relief that it was an attempt at levity. Haha![]()
Explain to me why St. John's got Kansas at home last year when they requested them then.
That was good.A man in his 30's sits in front of a computer screen. Framed Basketball posters surround a mid 2010s flat screen TV. A mini UConn basketball hoop hangs above his monitor, the nerf ball is lost, the backboard dusty. A BigEast cup ,a souvenir from his lone trip to Madison Square Garden , meets his lips. The beverage masks the reek of spilled bong water from the night before.
His roommate noticed the smell earlier, after the gym. He sets his beer down. A bobblehead of a man in a suit with the caption "No Escalators" jiggles on its spring. His roomates coworker chuckled at it during one of his visits this past winter, while the man was attending a basketball game at XL Center.
His eyeglasses reflect a Blue and White webpage. His condensing fingertips fall heavily upon keys concealing sugar from sour patch kids. He checks to see if anyone has replied to any of his recent critiques of the UConn non conference schedule . Indeed they have. He smiles. Purpose.
