Has to be regression coming - his clip is too good to be true. That is a balanced roster with mismatches and beef in the right places. I also like Otz as a coach as they're defense first. JJ is a stud from an efficiency standpoint, kind of their Yaxel.
 
As they say, shooter got to shoot. You kind of have to give him a full leash and if it doesn't turn around by March, then maybe resize his threes. Anything right now should be getting this team ready for March.

I like Otz as a coach too but for real, the guy needs to stop wearing shirts that he wore in high school. It’s embarrassing.

I like Villanova's defense. It looks like a pretty vanilla man-to-man, but they spring unexpected traps that create enough TO's and bad shots to make it a pretty good D.

Butler is already done. A Marquette win today and Seton Hall joins them.

UConn, St John's and Nova are the only schools in the conference that at this point can make the NCAA tournament without needing to win the BE tournament. Seton Hall can join them, but they can't lose another to anyone other than the three who are already in.

They can but then they're in the territory that they may need to take one of their remaining games against Nova, UConn, St. John's.

Correct. Butler has that great OOC win against Virginia that is aging like fine wine. However, they are undoing that with too many Q2 losses to Big East teams. Losing at home to Georgetown doesn't cut it.
 
Good for Seton Hall that they were able to make that comeback. That would have been a really dangerous loss

I’ve been sounding alarms on Butler for a little while now but I think the door is closed. They’re not officially out of it but they can’t really afford to go any worse than 8-1 the rest of the way. Right now they’re 4-7 and still have UConn, Nova, Seton Hall, and Creighton
 
These refs don't even want to overturn challenged calls, DePaul just challenged an obvious out of bounds call that went against them and the refs wouldn't overturn it after video replay
 
How does a team (Xavier, 2nd half) get 16 1/2 minutes into a half before committing their second foul?

DePaul throwing the game away, but the refs helping. Big East officials are not good. DePaul has missed at least 5 easy layups. Like point shaving bad (but I don’t think they are shaving).
 
DePaul makes a difficult 3 to tie after missing nothing but wide open shots and layups for the past few minutes but then gets gamed a the buzzer

DePaul blew it. Right after CJ Gunn ties the game with a 3 with 9 seconds left and Filip Boravicanin hits the game winner at the buzzer.
