English really getting creative with his lineups. Abandons all hope on playing defense.

Providence looking like they are on pace to give up 90+ points again, they've got decent to above average athletes at every position, no reason they should be this bad at that end.
 
On a human level I don't ever wish for anyone to get fired, at least that's the case most of the times. I certainly don't wish that to happen to Kim English.
But if he did get fired (not trying to write that into existence), I would like Jamier Jones to consider going about 50 miles west for his transfer choice. He says he studies film of Stephon Castle.

Vaaks is really good.

I can't think of a team that delivers a haymaker right to their own face better than Providence. They are dominating a slow, unathletic Creighton team, and are up 7.

I like Zugic when I see him, but he is only averaging 13 mpg. I wonder what his problem is. Effort?
 
The K state L is a big wart on creightons OOC resume. Baylor fine whatever. Then it’s just the 3 Ls to top 10 teams but PC would be another big wart and could put them on the wrong side of the bubble.
 
I may regret posting this, but even Providence can't blow this game.
 
Hopefully for PC fans PC's late game demons don't rise up from the ashes.

The foul call on Blake Harper when it looked like a clean strip was big.

I don't think this game was a killer for Creighton's at-large hopes by itself, but it is indicative that Creighton is probably not going to win enough games to get a bid.
 
Providence tried their best to blow it. Kim English sucks so much.

I know people wanna jump on English but a lot of that last minute was on the players. their bball iq is so low doing things that coaches shouldn’t need tons say. I mean players gotta know the situation and play accordingly.

Those Friars made some stupid plays at the end. I hope it wasn't points shaving.
 
LMFAO, DePaul 's attendance blows away Georgetown's attendance. And yes, I know some of these folks are from Marquette as Milwaukee is about 90 miles away. But I don't think Georgetown's top 3 home games equals what DePaul has right now.

Given that we saw them play stupidly against UConn. I think it’s just the team being basketball stupid and not knowing how to close out a game.
 
Providence giving a master class on how not to finish out the last 3-4min of games.

Just horrible BBIQ by the players and coaching
 
Creighton's tournament hopes are gone, shy of winning the BET.

Halfway through January, seven schools are done, four are on track to dance.
