watching the highlight on Twitter this morning, it was hilarious watching iverson complain about two obvious fouls where he absolutely decked jump shooters.

I always thought that was an awkward commentary as they won the title...
."first big east title with this group of people". You'd think he would have been better prepared with something....anything...

They did win the Big East tourney in '90 during the Dream Season. Beat Top Ten Georgetown and Syracuse teams on consecutive days.

Ricky Moore put him on lock. All my gtown boys were salty after that game. I’ll never forget that game. Sat. Night - the garden- I think UConn was number 6 in country , gtown was like #3. Ray ray vs iverson- Dickie V was doing the game (before he got annoying) lol. Electric atmosphere

Technically isn't every championship in college almost always a first "with this group of people"?

We were actually tied for first with Cuse
as 12-4 Georgetown was 11-5
Cuse somehow got the 1 seed in the Tourney
we had to beat Georgetown and Cuse on consecutive days to win it.

I live an hour and 15 from Philly. I have attended every UConn game in Philly. The place was rocking like it was a championship game. Packed house going crazy. It was a sight to see the buses from CT rolling in the parking lot. When we scored the place was insane. I was starting to wonder if I was in XL Center. I am going crazy about this move back. At first to get a single ticket go the game was attainable. However later on they figured out UConn was a huge draw in Philly. So they started to put Nova-Uconn game ticket with a 3 game page only. The other two game Nova faced was like Florida International School of Hairdressing and/or Alabama School for Game Wardens. Needless to say I bought one package, but then AAC moved in.
 
Re: the 6 OT game. I don't think I knew this statistic until now, but Onuaku hit 2 free throws late in regulation after being 1 for his previous 16 on free throws. Unbelievable that he hit both under pressure, otherwise we likely win in regulation.
