Another terrible first half for Seton Hall, Nova up 15 @ the half
 
Fanta said it best, "Seton Hall is in the desert". When their offense goes dry, it really goes dry, oof.

Meanwhile in the AMP, Butler is up 2 but energy in the AMP is low. It's a big contrast from when UConn visited the AMP.
 
Nova all of a sudden has some depth with Malachi Palmer and Chris Jeffrey.
 
I just don’t get how Seton Hall game plans to try to win every game without any outside threat. They’re not even that big down low. Some people love Sha here but to me he’s just a slightly worse version of Cooley, who loves to win based on daring the refs to call 100 fouls a game on an overly aggressive defense.
I can’t get over how Budd Clark possess an elite middy game but nothing from three. He’s 5’8, dude needs to at least offer an option from outside

Maybe, but they’re probably easily the worst 11th place team in any of the power conferences
 
Most talented last place team, sure. Coaching wise and BBIQ? Probably not. Man a good coach would do that team wonders.

Going to OT.... Butler kid 12/12 from the line for the night, misses 2 at the end.
 
A true Ball don't lie situation. Finley Bizjack foul baited and had no where to go but got bailed out with a BS foul call in his favor with 1.3 seconds left. He was 12-12 for FTs and then missed both. PC-Butler in OT now.

I thought Sellers was going to win that, but he was going full speed and shot it with his off hand.
 
And looks like GT is going to take the win over Creighton.

Looks like the comeback vs Providence sparked something in Georgetown because they've been playing much better since then
 
Butler gave the game away by missing clutch FTs and letting PC smoke them in the 2nd OT. The door is closed

Creighton getting easily handled by Georgetown is bad. The door is closed

Seton Hall has 8 games left, 2 against St John’s and UConn. This loss doesn’t doom them. If they run the table minus UConn and SJU then they’re 22-9. That feels like the minimum goal to be comfortable

Worst set of outcomes possible for the league tonight in terms of bids/seeding.

Seton Hall played well enough against Nova to win, but couldn't hit the broad side of a barn from 3. They must have missed at least 4 wide open looks and 6 or more open shots from downtown. They end up losing by 12.

Butler should have beaten Providence, but as noted above missed free throws in both regulation and OT and got trounced in double OT. They'll be trending towards falling out of the top 75 (will probably be 68-70 when it updates tomorrow if I had to guess)

Creighton loses @ Georgetown, instead of picking up a Q2 win and moving more safely within the top 75, they'll probably drop to around NET #80.

Butler and Creighton were already well out of the tournament picture before tonight.

Nova is just a lot better than Seton Hall and the Pirates had no chance of winning that game.

That's not surprising. They're 311th in three point shooting percentage this season. For comparison, posters have been complaining about UConn's three point shooting and they're 55th. Imagine if Ball was shooting even close to what he did last season? They'd probably be top 15.
