Yes, I think they're becoming an elite team. One game ago, 2 point game with 20 sec left and you call that elite?

You are correct. We shot fts terribly is what I’m remembering. Also turned the ball over 15 times. They also shot 20 more fts than us.We didn't shoot terribly. We shot great and that's what kept us in the game. St. John's shot terribly.
They sure looked elite 9 days ago when Xavier took them to OT at home.Yes, I think they're becoming an elite team.
Do u think UConn is an elite team? They sure looked elite 9 days ago when Xavier took them to OT at home.
No need for exaggeration
Was not my intention to be rude. I just think we as fans underestimate the fact that it’s college kids playing, that’s allThanks for informing me, I really didn’t know
Did u think UConn is an elite team?
Key sentence right hereHold up, this is the same team that just was taken to the wire by Marquette. I have the same worries but thinking about it, let’s pump the brakes on “elite”
Got it, that’s true, it mostly just frustrates me the lack of any consistency in play. Was not my intention to be rude. I just think we as fans underestimate the fact that it’s college kids playing, that’s all
We lost shooting 55% - that is really hard to do.We didn't shoot terribly. We shot great and that's what kept us in the game. St. John's shot terribly.
You are both correct in some way. Inyatkin is correct that each game is different in most cases. I didn't think UConn would lose to Creighton, but I thought it would be a single digit victory for them. However, you are correct after blowing out Creighton 3 weeks and giving them their worst home loss ever, that UConn should not have lost the way they did with Creighton controlling the game and scoring 91 pts. But as we all have observed UConn hasn't been all that sharp in these Big East games with a few exceptions.Got it, that’s true, it mostly just frustrates me the lack of any consistency in play.
It turns out that we actually don't get significantly more fouls called on us than does the other team. Someone posted the stats on that: 18.0 vs 18.7Part of the physicality issue is that we get fouls called on us so much more often than other teams. St. John’s is allow to mug and maul teams in a way nobody else in the big east is allowed to.
Also figured that creighton shot their wade against us anyway no way they were having two games in a row like that.
Yes, 100%Do u think UConn is an elite team?
Shocked that was a serious questionYes, 100%
I asked because @FightOnCT thinks it's wild I think St. John's is becoming an elite team. St. John's winning a close game against Marquette somehow eliminates the idea from consideration according to him.Shocked that was a serious question
Makes sense now. Missed that.I asked because @FightOnCT thinks it's wild I think St. John's is becoming an elite team. St. John's winning a close game against Marquette somehow eliminates the idea from consideration according to him.
Yall are so reactionary, it’s hilariousI don't know if St. John's is elite, but they look a hell of a lot better than UConn right now. But things change in college basketball and this can change sooner than we think, but it won't happen until UConn fixes their defense.
Providence hasn't won a close game all season, we'll see how they blow it.Jaylin Sellers misses fall away shot. DePaul has ball with 25 seconds left and called time out.
Watching this game over Illinois/UCLA?Providence hasn't won a close game all season, we'll see how they blow it.
Back and forth.Watching this game over Illinois/UCLA?
That’s not how it worksOur Quad 1 win at Creighton will now be a Quad 2 & the loss to Creighton is now Quad 3....zero chance Creighton gets near top 75 in NET again.
Back and forth. I recorded from 3 minutes left in regulation of the Illinois -UCLA game just in case the Providence game goes to OT.Watching this game over Illinois/UCLA?
Georgetown hosts Marquette this week at spacious Capital One Arena.Wow. Just checked box scores and Seton Hall shot 0-18 from 3pt range in their 51-47 win over GTown. Woof.
What I posted is the truth and Hurley has admitted as much after the Creighton loss-this team won't go anywhere if their defense doesn't improve and play at a high level consistently. Fortunate for us it improved drastically yesterday, but that has to be maintained.Yall are so reactionary, it’s hilarious
