Xavier has been decimated by injuries the last two years.
He’s had a full recruiting year to recruit around that. Relying on 2 guys who haven’t been healthy since he’s been there was quite the decision

Tonight cemented in my mind that St. John’s will be the 3rd team from the league in. It also cemented that Xavier has to play catch up from too far back to get an at-large at 9-7 (1-4). There is a non-zero chance St. John’s wins their next six.

The three teams to watch are Georgetown, Villanova, and Creighton. From now on, I would root for those three to win (except when playing UConn of course) to get the maximum number of bids.

He did and his starting center went down for the entire season.

He made the Sweet 16 in his first season there. He is a really good coach.

Which was an underachievement for that team. I think his best days are behind him. Last year was understandable. This year is completely on him imo.

Maybe Miller has lost his fastball, maybe he hasn't. There are a lot of variables hitting college sports right now, and it is hard to isolate any of them. The season the SEC is having is scary, and the fact that the Big 10 has pulled away from the Big 12 into a clear second place among conferences is also disturbing. While it is fun to point and laugh at the ACC, it is not like those schools are not trying within the resources they have, they are just losing, badly.

I watched the GT V Marq game and I think I'm more worried about playing GT right now - they are BIG. Not a Cooley fan but I would have loved to see them pull of the win. Both teams defend hard.

Are we sure about your big 10 point? I think top to bottom Big 12 is still stronger than the big 10... cant wait to see them poop their pants in the first round like every year

RPI and KenPom have Big 10 meaningfully ahead of the Big 12, but Torvik has the Big 12 ahead of the Big 10.

nova best team in the church league, told yall a month ago but no one wants to listen

Steven Ashworth just grabbed 12 boards. No excuses for bad rebounding anymore!

Butler almost pulled off a crazy comeback but Creighton wins a fun one

The two biggest plays down the stretch in the Creighton game to me were the Ashworth 3 after a Butler turnover and Kalikbrenner's spin move on the baseline while being double teamed. As the announcer stated, you can't give up the baseline.

Also of note, Ashworth missed just his second FT of the season. And in the first half both teams had a combined 4 fouls until Butler started intentionally fouling with a minute left increasing by 3 or so.

Seton Hall -Providence in a good one at the AMP with 7 45 left pC up by 1

Oswin Erhunmwunse breakout game! After PC imploded and let Seton Hall take the lead, he dominated the paint defensively and threw down a monster alley oop during their game-winning run

12 points, 10 rebounds, 5 blocks

He was ranked #32 in the nation as a recruit from Putnam Science Academy, right in UConn's backyard. Oswin will be a good one for PC.
