What's Irish and stays out all night?I work tomorrow and it’s almost ten here but I’m Irish and used to being up all night
Really I think this was best case scenario: We need to jump 3 or 4 teams to get a 7 seed so we need a couple more quality wins. That means Nova>Creighton>SJU and now at least Creighton will be gassed. Beating Depaul wouldn’t have helped our resume at all.So we get the worst possible scenario. 2OT and Creighton still wins. I really hate that I have to go back to the office again. Going to be exhausted tomorrow
Getting a tired Creighton not a bad thing. Getting a potential easy pass into the final could have been fun too. Any way you cut it beating StJ in the finals is only thing moving needle anyway.Really I think this was best case scenario: We need a couple more quality wins to get a 7 seed. Oh come on it’s not like you ever went to work a bit “tired”So we get the worst possible scenario. 2OT and Creighton still wins. I really hate that I have to go back to the office again. Going to be exhausted tomorrow
Nice call - any idea of the lottery numbers tomorrow? The best thing that could happen to us (after us beating Nova of course) is Creighton coming back against DePaul and winning in 2OT. Creighton would be tired and if we beat them it's another high quality win. Beating DePaul would do nothing for our NCAA Tournament seeding.
I am lucky. I am here in Boston so it will be late when the UConn game ends, but I work from homeI work tomorrow and it’s almost ten here but I’m Irish and used to being up all night
Agree, that last one had to have been a travel anywhere this side of James Harden.Rivera has the farthest stepback I've ever seen anywhere
can’t wait for the games. Long day but worth it for SJU-MU and UConn-Creighton. The four regular season games between these teams were all highly competitive, well played games.
Good matchup of styles also. Probably the best semi finals the Be could hope for this year.
They use strength to drive to the hole every play and get fouled. Missing Ft’s and making layups.St. John's is really friggin' good.
We don’t seem to get away with those fouls in our games. Marquette has to quit turning it over.St. John's is a terrific team. With that being said, they get away with a lot of fouls that are called against other teams. Lots of bumps going to the basket, bodying guys up, etc. I am Shaka, lots of fouls not getting called. It will be interesting how they are officiated in the Tournament and if it becomes like Pittsburgh used to be--they get away with that play in the Big East but called for tons of fouls in the Tournament.
