How hard is it to get a friggen table at j Tim's? The parking lot is huge and loaded with cars. Most of them bmws and the like.

For what it's worth, I just read an article (print, not Internet) about smoking wings halfway fiaprat.....then frying them. I am determined to try this. Wow.

Who goes to a restaurant after getting food poisoning there twice?
Good point! Once, then maybe I go back. Twice, definitely not. Three times and I'm on the phone with the town's/city's health inspector!

Oh, natural selection, how we miss you so!

Is fire still hot or do you think you need to check it one more time?

Were the wings good? Yes.
Was it worth the sickness? Yes.
Would I do it again? Maybe.

This thread again? All wings are good as long as:

1. they are well done and very crispy on the outside. Always ask for your wings extra crispy.

2. The wings are on the smallish side. Whenever I see "giant wings" or "jumbo wings" on the menu I pass. Chickens shouldn't be that big. It either means the chicken is pumped full of fluid, which is disgusting or it is some freakish Walmart style, genetically modified chickenasaurus.

The sauce is hard to screw up, even store brand garbage wing sauce tastes great on a quality wing fried to a crispy crunch.

That's basically the truth.

Your favorite pizza, your favorite wings and your favorite burgers are never that unique. There are only so many ways to grill a ground up cow or deep-fry a chicken wing.

I am soooo glad I don't live in your .little world

You probably think the gumbo is good in CT too.

More than likely don't give a crap about Gumbo........but the wings in the Northeast are damn good!!

No, but wings aren't regional. Sorry.

Try using their full name and see how that statement holds up.

You do realize BUFFALO wild WINGS is a national chain, right?

I don't care where they were "invented". It's a simple, easily re-creatable formula. Thus, there is not much variation in quality around the country. In any location, there are good wings and bad wings.

And their wings come from pigeons!! Smallest wings ever.........

Some real good one's just over the border on Rt 75 in Agawam at Murphy's with a whiskey rub and they're meatier than most too!

Small wings are good. That's the way wings should be. Oversized chickens are genetically modified and pumped full of solution. Eat more small wings if you are hungry.

TK's in Danbury (best place to watch a sports game. Die hard Rangers/UConn fans).

Pippa's (Danbury) is great, but their wings have fallen of the past couple of years. Barely the size of my pinky and less sauce variety than TK's.

Keeping with the Danbury trend, go to JK's and get a couple hotdogs, everything plus cheese. Should be a staple "restaurants to visit in Connecticut" stop

Bidwell's in Coventry

Michael's in Bethel is small and pretty unheard of but the wings are amazing.
