Bediako situation, legal question

I'm hoping Alabama falls flat on their faces.

"[Coach Nate Oats] has a plan," Bediako told Yea-Alabama.com, a website for the school's NIL collective. "I'm ready to help these guys win and also give them some of my knowledge. We've got a great group of guys. I think we can win it all. I'm just excited, just as much as they are."

Tennessee goes into Tuscaloosa and knocks off Alabama and Bediako. Karma is a bitch. 😀

I watched part of the game. Bediako looked great - 13 pts and 3 rebounds on 5/6 shooting.

Bama was down two players today.

TRO extended due to the attorneys not being able to attend a hearing tomorrow due to the weather.

I respect that he subtly threw shade at the old guys trying to go back, lol

I can absolutely see why a kid would try this, given the NIL money and the fact that his development is not what he expected when leaving.

But ultimately, if you're playing in the NBA, your window is closed. Unfortunate for some, but too bad.

That's my opinion of course, and often that opinion doesn't align with the courts.

Honestly I’d rather a 26 year old who never played pro ball playing in college versus this. If you played in the NBA or had an NBA contract you’re out.

It's insane there would even be any discussion about this. As Hurley said, nobody is protecting the college basketball shield.

At some point you won't even have a sport worth saving.
