You’re playing five on five. You can’t play against yourself. Pedal faster, pep.who says it has to be a unique 5?

I respect Russell for what he did but he would be curbstomped by Shaq. Here’s an all Celtic team that would challenge any group
Russell
Bird
McHale
Garnett
Havlicek
Defense absurd, rebounding ridiculous, scoring both in and out
Russell handled Wilt. He would be able to handle ShaqI respect Russell for what he did but he would be curbstomped by Shaq.
Bill Russell is listed as 6'10. 215.Russell handled Wilt. He would be able to handle Shaq
Shaq would be gasping for air eight minutes into the first quarter and spend the final thirty minutes of the game under the offensive basket.Bill Russell is listed as 6'10. 215.
Wilt is listed as 7'1", 275.
Shaq is listed as 7'1", 325.
Oh, and by the way, in their head to head matchups Wilt averaged 30.1 pts and 22.9 rebounds a game. Russell averaged 14.9 pts and 24.7 rebounds. In 1960, Chamberlain dropped 50 pts and 35 rebounds against him.
I'll take Shaq and his 110 pt weight advantage.
PG Magic
SG Jordan
SF Kobe
PF Malone
C Olajuwon
Agree to disagree. From age 22-32, he averaged 37-38 min a game. He wasn't some plodding fat slob.Shaq would be gasping for air eight minutes into the first quarter and spend the final thirty minutes of the game under the offensive basket.
Shaq was physically impressive but arrived at a time when the remaining great centers were winding down their careers (Hakeem, Robinson and Ewing) and none of the new centers wanted anything to do with the low post.
If Shaq cam along 20+ years earlier and had to face Kareem, Thurmond, Lanier, Gilmore regularly he wouldn't be held in anywhere near the esteem people hold him in.
And before you criticize Russell's size, keep in mind that during Shaq's career Rodman (6'7" 220) was the best rebounder in the game.
You really think Jordan can check Jordan???
McHale v Duncan is worth price of admission. On both ends of the court.
Magic
LeBron
Bird
McHale
Wilt
Prime Shaq did not have Eddy Curry’s conditioning, this is just disrespectful.Shaq would be gasping for air eight minutes into the first quarter and spend the final thirty minutes of the game under the offensive basket.

Rodman not being a center is even more reason to question why he, not Shaq was leading the league in rebounds nearly every year.Agree to disagree. From age 22-32, he averaged 37-38 min a game. He wasn't some plodding fat slob.
And Rodman wasn't a center. Bringing him up in an argument of Wilt, Shaq and Russell is irrelevant. Bill Russell would be giving away 110 lbs. I'll take my chances. Especially knowing Wilt threw him around for 30 and 23 every single time they played.
I don’t think you have the foggiest idea of what Shaq was physically under say the age of 32-33.Rodman not being a center is even more reason to question why he, not Shaq was leading the league in rebounds nearly every year.
Shaq in a lot of ways was basically an out of shape Bob Lanier, playing in a league with a few players with (near) center's bodies who wanted to face the basket all the time. Ben Wallace, at 6'9" 245 pushed Shaq around almost at will in the 2004 finals.
I would love to see Shaq at (pick an age: 22, 25, 28) play a few games against the likes of Thurmond, Lanier or Gilmore (great players who few of today's fan have a clue about) at a similar age. Things would turn out a bit differently than what many younger fans would have expected.
I don't know what you mean. He was a DPOY, so he could check himself.
Kevin McHale? Really? I mean the guy was good, but there are probably 15 people that are much better that McHale.
I'd like to see a list of 15 better PF's than McHale.
And specifically how they would match up against the Big Fundamental.
Is this list a joke?Duncan
Kemp
Malone
Barkley
Oakley
Rodman
Nowitzki
KG
Rasheed Wallace
Webber
Moses Mallone
Otis Thorpe
Just take name a few that I would rather play before McHale.
McHale was a good power forward, definitely top 20, but if you're building the best line up, IMO, not many people would have him on the list
Otis Thorpe
Is this list a joke?
Duncan-Yes
Kemp-Hell no
Malone-Yes
Barkley-Yes
Hell no
Rodman-No
Dirk-Yes
KG-Yes
Rasheed Wallace-HELL NO
Webber-Borderline
Moses-Literally not a PF
Thorpe-Genuinely what are we doing?
Dirk is listed as 7’0”, 245. So taller and heavier than Russell.
