Beat this starting five.

Saw a reel where they asked Shaq to assemble his unbeatable five.

PG Curry
SG Kobe
SF Jordan
PF Duncan
C Shaq

Beat that five in a one game playoff.

Magic
Vince
Bird
KG
Wilt

PG Magic
SG Jerry West
SF Bird
PF McHale
C Kareem

McHale v Duncan is worth price of admission. On both ends of the court.

 Magic
 LeBron
Bird
McHale
Wilt

I think Stockton, Zeke or Dumars have speed and endurance to match Curry. But considering I still think Magic is #2 all-time behind MJ, gotta start with him.

LeBron is better than Kobe. Dr J v Kobe would be great.

Wilt destroys Shaq. Has the strength to not get bullied and is so much faster and athletic than Shaq..

Amazingly enough, Jordan as the GOAT, is rhe biggest match up problem in any scenario.

Based on match ups you might convince me Dr J or KD for Bird.

The “back in the day” lineups that omit Lebron from an all time starting 5 are going to be hilarious.
It’s a game, but I see your LeBron sensitivity is taking over. You’ll be okay little mate!

O
Russell
SGA
KD
Bird

If you don’t have LeBron on the winning team, you’re an idiot.

I get some of the hate but sweet Haysoos, the guy is huge and awesome.
The Shaq and I do not have him on the starting five.

.-.
This line up is unbeatable

Scott Howard from Teen Wolf

Sidney Deane from W.M.C.J

Billy Hoy from W.M.C.J

Saleh from Air up there

Buddy from Air bud

Bench - Mark Cooper from hanging with Mr. Cooper
Fun fact - I played against Saleh when he was in college at Lynn.

Let me rephrase, my team played against his team and I watched from the bench. Actually I think I did get minutes in that one.

The thing people don't realize about Wilt is that he was a great athlete. Literally a track star at Kansas in the high jump, triple jump, shot put and 100 meters and he is also in the Volleyball Hall of Fame. 20k ladies as well, lol. Stallion Deluxe.

Here’s an all Celtic team that would challenge any group
Russell
Bird
McHale
Garnett
Havlicek
Defense absurd, rebounding ridiculous, scoring both in and out

.-.
Russell handled Wilt. He would be able to handle Shaq
Bill Russell is listed as 6'10. 215.
Wilt is listed as 7'1", 275.
Shaq is listed as 7'1", 325.

Oh, and by the way, in their head to head matchups Wilt averaged 30.1 pts and 22.9 rebounds a game. Russell averaged 14.9 pts and 24.7 rebounds. In 1960, Chamberlain dropped 50 pts and 35 rebounds against him.

I'll take Shaq and his 110 pt weight advantage.

Shaq would be gasping for air eight minutes into the first quarter and spend the final thirty minutes of the game under the offensive basket.

Shaq was physically impressive but arrived at a time when the remaining great centers were winding down their careers (Hakeem, Robinson and Ewing) and none of the new centers wanted anything to do with the low post.

If Shaq cam along 20+ years earlier and had to face Kareem, Thurmond, Lanier, Gilmore regularly he wouldn't be held in anywhere near the esteem people hold him in.

And before you criticize Russell's size, keep in mind that during Shaq's career Rodman (6'7" 220) was the best rebounder in the game.

Agree to disagree. From age 22-32, he averaged 37-38 min a game. He wasn't some plodding fat slob.

And Rodman wasn't a center. Bringing him up in an argument of Wilt, Shaq and Russell is irrelevant. Bill Russell would be giving away 110 lbs. I'll take my chances. Especially knowing Wilt threw him around for 30 and 23 every single time they played.

It's tough reading the ones that don't know who played what position.

Magic over Curry

No one over Jordan, but playing Jordan and Kobe is a problem for the OP. Team should have one or the other as bothare SGs. I'll take George Gervin in this spot.

LeBron, even matched up with MJ at SF, over Dr J and Bird.

Malone, if I can't have Duncan. Durant gets swallowed up by Duncan. Give me Malone's running and power over KD.

There are at least 4 centers that you can put over Shaq, but Wilt is the obvious counter to Shaq's game. Others would be Russell, Kareem, and Olajuwan. Ewing is close too.

Magic
Gervin
LeBron
Malone
Wilt
