OMG, what a great result for us. I don't care if BCU had players hurt, they had homefield advantage with their conference refs, and today we were the better team on all sides. Fagnano showing he can ball. I am so happy with this result, and someone said in the chat (sorry, forgot who), one more win makes us bowl eligible. If we were undefeated coming off a 2 score win on the road against BC, an absolute demolition of FIU the game before that and had that road win over Cuse to point to as well, I think we would've cracked it tomorrow. If not, we would've had a lot of votes in the RV category. It does sting a bit, since cracking the top 25 is a great way to silence the naysayers.

As you said though no sense in looking back. Just finish strong, one game at a time. Another strong season still helps the optics surrounding the program

I would have laughed at the thought of JF in the NFL only a few weeks ago. But now that he is using his legs, he looks like a complete QB. He is making good decisions. I see him as an UFA now.

Bell knew how good JF would be with another year…smart move by him to use his last year of eligibility to play with a QB that he knows. Both are reaping the benefits of that decision. Other WRs and TEs with a nice game also. Not sure I remember one drop?

Edwards and Rosa played tough and were solid.

Defense is still shaky…but BC has a pretty good offense. It still feels like it’s too easy to run on this 3-3-5. But…linebackers are getting better every week. Parham had 14 tackles and 2 sacks…oh my.

Can’t wait to watch this team play their last 5 games. Let’s hope they came out of this healthy and will be ready to battle a decent Rice team coming off a bye week on the road.

I'm really struck with Vereen... Gonna be a fun couple of years.
 
I thought it was big us stopping BC on fourth down in the endzone. We altered the catch so good job defense. Sometimes you need luck on your side. We got lucky with BC being offside that gave us a first down but sometimes you need a little luck. Great win for UConn and I heard Skyler had a good game. What did he do in the game?

Their stadium fans lacked that football energy - felt like most came to socialize -which was fine for us!

that wasn't true for UConn fans..z

just remember when they visit us next year -their fans mostly friendly and hospitable

Yea watching on TV it seemed like we traveled well, our fans definitely had a strong presence there

So true, but at the same time, hope they learned some lessons from the Delaware game. This was an emotional & tough win and UConn will be favored next week, but they need to bring the same intensity & focus next week in order to keep winning.

Gotta love Jim Mora. He is making UCON A football school, to go with Hockey, Basketball.
Bell is going to be drafted high and more kids will listen to Coach Mora and consider U C O N N.
The BC stands were at best half full and i just bought tix for the rest of the year. SAD that BC stinks. NO I AM not.
