What a game, what a mighty good game. Morgan Williams was the smallest player on the court, but tonight she played like the biggest player on the court.
Morgan's father is smiling on her, and he was the sixth man tonight.
Just like Katie Lou;s father ...

For the posters blaming Kim for the loss....

As much as I find her antics disagreeable, her wardrobe (in the past) similar to ladies of the night,
her college's record in human rights deplorable, and her record unconvincing....

Despite all that: there was no stopping that kid tonight, like Candace Wiggins did to us, these many moons ago.

No one blamed Geno for that (that I can recall), Wallace had a bad night and Kim ran into the immutable force.

It happens.

OK - time for lights out. I have an early workday tomorrow and I need to rest up for tomorrow night! What a day!!

Yeah, there will be a lot of tickets available outside that arena Friday morning.

Its not like they brought a bunch of fans to OKC. I guess they were waiting for the games in Dallas to attend.

If there are any Baylor fans lurking here I will gladly take those tickets off your hands.

I agree. I think when they saw their bracket, a lot of assumptions were made and they thought they'd save some money by not making both trips.

Baylor shot 53% to MS State 43% When's the last time someone had a ten point margin on field goal percentage and lost?
It was an unusual game.

I hope we win it all, but I just didn't want Maryland,Baylor,ND mostly to win it. Secondly I don't want Stanford or South Carolina. If not us, I want Florida state.
I agree except I would prefer MS over Florida State. Uconn has got to beat Oregon and MS because if SC beats FS, their chances of winning it all could be very likely seeing how they have beaten MS twice this already season.

The final four is already sold out.

And surely your not suggesting that the NCAA is interfering by telling referees what to do.

It may be sold out now but let's see how many tickets become available in the next 24-48 hours! I'm sure a lot of Baylor fans will be posting on stubhub later ;)

Tennessee was in the final 4 that year, and lost in the semis.
The UConn team was certainly not one of the 2 best teams. In fact probably the worst Husky team in the past 24 years.

Yep. I believe Tennessee was upset by a Joanne P Mcauley Michigan State team if my memory is correct.
