if true, that's low class for Baylor's bench. but it would be a bummer if that's all tennessee fans take away from the game.
 
Can someone explain to me what the benefit is of having Griner follow Baugh out 15 to 20 feet from the basket? I am being serious. I know that there must be a good reason if Mulkey has her to do, but is Baugh really going to beat you out there?
 
Tennessee follows up a great defensive possession with an awful 3 point shot with 25 seconds left in the shot clock.

Never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually rooting for Tennessee to pull this out. Not likely. I wish they'd actually run some offense, but why start now?

If there was a way for them both to lose this game, I would be happy. I honestly cannot decide which team I am rooting for...just watchin'

The team has a chance to cut it single digits and the worst player on the floor decides to shoot a 3.

For this game, I'm switching to Dancing with the Stars :rolleyes:
 
My goodness....the refs don't seem to be paying attention to Griner camping out in the lane.
 
Why isn't Megan Simmons back in the game? She is their best 3 point shooter?
For them to get back into this, they need to make 3's.

Sims is money in big games. She may not average 20 a game but when you need 20+ she gives it to you.

They have no confidence that Simmons will not shoot them out of the game.

Well, you know, they might want to try running an offense. As Peck correctly noted at halftime (can't believe I just said that), TN needs to be passing the ball around to get better shots, as opposed to jacking it up right away.
 
Sims and Bria are similar type players, they thrive on big games. Glad we have Bria, though.

I don't know that they have an offense. I am not saying that to be cruel, but you can usually tell when teams have stuff they are trying to run and just can't because the other team's defense is taking it away, for whatever reason. Tennessee doesn't even look like they know what they are supposed to be doing on their offensive sets. You never know who's going to jack up a shot, from where, at what point in the shot clock. Not well organized at all.

And you wonder why there's few competitive games in WCBB? TN was about to make this game. Down 8, Baylor steps on the baseline...well that's what the first ref ruled...than another ref over rules him and calls a foul...Baylor hits a hoop...than a very quick 3 second call on TN. Man.
 
I will say this, I don't think anyone can beat Baylor if they are going to get the calls as well.
 
Simmons did a good job of making Griner leave her feet on that foul. And a bad job of shooting that second FT.

What on earth happened to Spani's shot? I know she is hurt, but still.
