Baylor on Final List for Two Top 20 2013 Recruits

I don't mind someone coming here on occasion but when someone retires on this site with nothing but Baylor slanted stuff posting 50 times a day and more, it gets old really quickly.

It is unfortunate for you that you find my presence so upsetting. If the mods find me to be a nuisance I will respectfully discontinue posting on this board.

And you are wrong. Most things I discuss here are not Baylor related.

I was going to post the same thing re "ignore". One thing I disliked about the otherboard was just how unwelcome they were to posters from other teams. The boneyard is much more welcoming to everyone (who doesn't call the team the "Lady" huskies ) and is a very interesting read most times. If I find something repetitive, pedantic, or uninteresting, I exercise my inner editor and skip over the post.

So Buzzzzzzz......have you explored your inner editor lately?

I believe it was Cam who said once that he slowly turned to become a fan of the UCONN program. Of course I want Baylor to be successful but after spending so much time here I've grown to develop a great appreciation of the UCONN program and its devoted fanbase. Great supporters of UCONN, wbb and sports as a whole. You guys are very fortunate to have such a great program to support and each other to enjoy it with.

Some of you are so concerned about being loved by fans of other teams that you lose perspective. First of all, the title doesn't tell me this thread has NOTHING to do with UConn. The recruits vaguely referred to could also have had UConn on their lists. I didn't know for sure this wasn't the case until I read the posting.

Why do you people think it would be great to hear about EVERY recruit that has ANY of our rivals or main competitors on their list? Do You really find it fascinating to know what dozens of recruits who don't have UConn on their list are thinking? It may be sad that Baylor is too pathetic to have their own board to post this on but, tough.

1) Baylor is the WCBB frontrunner, which covers a lot of sins as far as relevancy to Husky fans is concerned. So far, so good.
2) Few would want to run ETT off the reservation, since other Baylor fans have abdicated the post as Ambassador from Texas.
3) ETT has more posts here than most of the natives.
4) The only problem is OVERKILL.

So, instead of nearly all the regulars exploring their inner editor, why doesn't ETT exercise some self-restraint?

I'd daresay I've never seen a situation like this on another fanboard tied to a particular school and sport.

I find your posts humerous and interesting Wonk, so please don't take this as aimed at you personally....the editorial function I mentioned is applied uniformly over all posts I chose not to read, regardless of the affinity of the author. And, actually I have enjoyed the BY more this offseason than any other offseason since they killed the Rivalry board because of the divirsity of the subject matter instead of the repetitive "who will start" and the recruiting nail biting that usually populates the board. I think that this off season is the first time that my "inner editor" has not been on autopilot.

I share those sentiments, Rady.

When we think the visitors, or any one of them, has posted too much, we'll let them know. And we welcome PMs from all concerned.

A few dissenters have had their say today, and I don't expect to see a lot more of it on the board. Would suggest they broaden their reading horizons if they're unhappy with what they see here. We aren't going to have them engaging in self-help efforts to discourage or constrain visitors.
