Halle Washington (Hoopgurlz #19) said that her list is down to Baylor and Georgia and Jessica Jackson (Hoopgurlz #12), who is to make an announcement on August 1, also has Baylor on her final list, along with Arkansas, Texas, TAMU and Kentucky. Both are listed at 6-3. Washington is supposed to be a bruiser who is very physical under the boards and Jackson is described as long and agile.

Baylor also appears to still be in the hunt for Tyler Scaife (Hoopgurlz #10), Ieshia Small (Hoopgurlz #13) and Imani Wright (Hoopgurlz # 23). I don't anticipate a top 5 recruit for 2013 but this would be a great group should it materialize. Hopefully we can land 3 of these 5.

There hasn't been much recent talk from Jada Terry and Breanna Hayden (Nae Nae's sister) but Terry previously had narrowed her list to Baylor and Texas and Breanna is Nae Nae's sister, so that should favor Baylor. Most say that Breanna is light years ahead of Nae Nae, who has been a two year starter at Baylor.

Which two of these girls are you going to glue together to replace Brittany...?

Speak for yourself. We have a lot of people here who are UConn fans first but fans of women's college basketball a close second. We like hearing about other teams, especially rivals like Baylor, Stanford, Duke, etc.

And don't forget SMU...!

My only "gripe" is that it should be prefaced with "OT", since the topic of this board is UCONN, not Baylor. Otherwise, nobody is forcing me to ready any threads. The title clearly indicates it is not related to UConn (even without the OT tag). Skip over it and move on. Life is far too short to, and there are much bigger issues in the world, to have an issue with this triviality.

I think he was, considering no one will post anything supporting that opinion...lol.

It's so easy not to read a thread about what you don't have interest in when you clearly can see what it's about in the subject line, as ETT did.

I wish fans of others schools would post most stuff like ETT does. This board can get boring witht just UConn stuff during the pre-season.

Life is way too precious to spend it being angry and bitter and nasty to others. Events like the theater massacre here in Denver serve as a reminder that life should be treasured and enjoyed every day because you never know when it may be gone.

Sorry to hear you're at Ground Zero ETT...the massacre is dominating all the media here in Atlanta and it's difficult to watch.

It is a sad time in Denver. So many memories of Columbine. The names of most victims have not been released and I am braced for hearing a name that is familiar.

I have a cousin who lives in Littleton with her family, and a number of other relatives in and around Denver. This reminds me of the World Trade center, where I had family members working. Took several days to get through by phone...all evacuated safely.

We were actually on a conference call with Cantor Fitzgerald during the two plane strikes. Their offices were on the 101st - 105th floors of One World Trade Center...the second tower hit. They rang off to be evacuated to the roof. Everyone perished!

Count me among the people who like reading about stuff like this. I wish other fans (Duke, Stanford, etc etc...) would let us know stuff like that. As a fan in general, i like to know what other top teams are on the final lists of rival schools. Like the thread on Greenwell narrowing her choice to ND or Duke.

Otherwise, how would you know that Mariah Chandler is going to have a breakout season? :p

The opening night speaker at our ELCA National Youth Gathering, 35,000 kids and chaperones in NOLA, was from a excellent mission church project in Denver and after giving a great address to our kids the day before was trying to get back to her people. She has a great ministry and will shatter most anyone's vision and expectation of what a pastor looks like. An alcoholic and drug addict from 17-22, yes, that is her picture and she is 6'1". Her blog is: http://www.sarcasticlutheran.com/

She would fit right in around here.

I just sent a note on another topic saying exactly the same thing. We continue to get bombarded by Baylor news that is totally irrelevent to 99% of this board. Why is there a Baylor "homer" who feels the need to post 50 times a day regarding a team that most Boneyard people could care less again. Baylor has a good team with a great center but when Tennessee was winning three championships in a row I don't recall anyone from Tennessee who literally lived on this board and wrote incessently about a team we had no use for. Why doesn't easttexastrash find a home at the Baylor board where someone might actually care about his or her insights. Doesn't he or she feel that site is worthy????? I think there is more than enough people who are UConn supporters to provide this website with news that the collective body really might be interested in. We don't have anyone giving us CCSU recruiting info nor do we have any UHart recruiting thrown in our face. We don't even have a lot of stuff thrown in regarding other Big East teams, maybe just an occasional high rated recruit for one of our conference foes but Baylor means nothing to anyone here except maybe in the days just before or after any potential Baylor-UConn game. Time to bombard the Texas area boards with all this meaningless trivia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't mind someone coming here on occasion but when someone retires on this site with nothing but Baylor slanted stuff posting 50 times a day and more, it gets old really quickly.
