First off, please list only realistic gets. Don't muck up this thread with ones that we already know have written off UConn or are simply not very high on us and would take a disaster of metioric proportions for them to rethink UConn.
So who do you want per position and in order of priority such as:
PG - ABC recruit as your top choice and XZY as your second choice.
Combo PF-C - ABCD...
Got it?
Seems that many want Robinson as our top 3/4 combon. I'm not sure what PG would be the best fit and get.
Sounds like Kosongo would be an interesting get for the 4-5 combo forward.
We seem set at the 2 with the 2/3 combo Hamilton.
And Purvis should at least be a top tier 2G and maybe able to split time at the 1.
Omar will likely be back for his Junior season. I don't think he's enough athlete to jump befor his junior year, but you never know.
RB seems itching to head to the league. Unless he has a monster season, he should not consider throwing his hat in the NBA ring till after his senior season. Sub-6 footers are ill advised to do so unless you have a Kemba type final season.
DD is poised for a monster junior year. He out-played GU's Porter who went lottery, I believe. If he simply does consistently what he did at the end of last season, he'll be a clear cut upper half first round pick.
We have a lot of unproven bigs (Brimah, Facey, Nolan) so who knows what they'll bring to the table. It seems evident that we need a couple more big bodies, preferably ones that can play right away. Maybe they'll all develop nicely this season and we'll have 3 viable options for teh 4 & 5, but you can never have too many bigs.
