Ballo to Indiana

It’s going to dry up a bit as soon as there’s any sort of economic downturn, this isn’t sustainable.

the deep pocket donors have some serious cash available for their schools. 1-2-3 million is always available. A business they own may suffer, depending on the industry, but their 100’s of millions are sitting in t-bills or equivalent. A school as large as Indiana should have access to quite a few big donors.

UA is down about 27% yoy but I doubt that Phil knight is hurting.

Whatever - he can sell out for the Dough. we ran the Big Ten this year anyways

Phil Knight is 86. I doubt he cares about NIL at this point. Probably setting up philanthropic activities for his legacy.

Probably doesn’t care about Underarmour stock either.

I’ve not spoken to Phil recently, no idea what he thinks of NIL after he is gone.

Boosters have to tap out eventually…right?
I've seen it with rabid major boosters at Florida already (and they're not ever running out of money) so, if they're fed up, I'd imagine many others at all levels of programs are going to get tired of buying wins.
They said it started to feel like buying love (so to speak).
