I had visions of another Maryland game meltdown but they hung on. And their reward is to play #4 UCLA Wednesday. Such is the Big Ten. Going to be a wild ride.

MLK day a huge day for the legacy BIG. Michigan vs Vandy and OSU vs TCU. 2 BIG wins could go a long way towards helping legacy BIG NCAA seeding and hopefully success.

Last year was a NCAA tournament disaster for the legacy BIG. After recent high water tournament success by Iowa, IU, Michigan and near peak success by OSU, the legacy BIG did nothing in the tourney last year. 3 Sweet 16s for the BIG by new newcomers UCLA and USC and newcomer MD, 2 Elite Eights by UCLA and USC, then F4 by UCLA. The legacy BIG teams (inc. PSU & Neb, exclude MD & RU) were just fodder pre-tournament for the LA schools, going 1-27 against USC/UCLA.
