If she's going to throw it down at all, that would be a good time to do it. I'll be there to see it live.I would just love to see her throw it down on Boston. The fans at the XL Center would go crazy and it would be live on FOX.![]()
Especially after she gets past the “awe” period of her freshman season (2-3 games), she becomes comfortable playing with her new teammates and in Geno’s system, and the game slows down for her.Ayanna is going to be exciting to watch.
We didn’t seem to have an answer for SC last year. I’m hoping we do this year with the Fearless Freshmen. If she's going to throw it down at all, that would be a good time to do it. I'll be there to see it live.

I was going to attempt to answer this question, then thought better. Why I think that way is not important to anyone but me. I could spend the rest of the season defending my views on that subject with those who oppose those views. I'm not going to go down that road. I want to enjoy the upcoming season. Not enter into a season long debate.Carnac, why do you assume she has the same psychological dynamics as other freshmen and not an advanced game ? Players are built differently, mentally and physically from each other.

This seems like a more complete highlight montage for Ayanna then I had seen earlier.

What 3 players do we know are a “lead pipe lock“ cinch to start? Azzi, Caroline and Dorka? We can debate until the cows come home about the other two.

I think the most likely, in order:
Azzi
Nika
Dorka
Liya
Caroline
Lou
Patterson is faster ,quicker and more talented than Morrow. Her true value will be on display against ranked teams, i. e. Tennessee, S. C. etc.
Morrow averaged 22 & 14, shot 52% and was a second team All-American. I like Ayanna and am certainly glad she’s a Husky but let’s see what she can do on the floor before we anoint her as better than one of the most dominant freshman forwards I’ve ever seen.
Did the Women start playing 6x6?
Dorka sits???Fudd-Edwards-X-X-X.
Dorka sits???
You said Dorka doesn't start? I named 2 starters. I don't think there is a lock 3. And it's not a negative. There is a load of talent that hasn't played for UConn yet. Dorka is qualified to be one of the X's, but I don't know enough about the other options to be confident.Actually, you did say that.
Unless she changed her name to X, X or X.
A number of players may start “with” Dorka,
but you know she’s one of the starting 5.
Don’t understand your rationale.

We won’t know until the exhibition game, but Dorka is in my starting 5.I don't think I said that. Dorka could well start. But there are other candidates.
Fudd is Fudd
Edwards has been trusted by Geno in big games for her first 2 years.
At least today she is. That might change between now and then. She's in my starting 5 too, but that's not what you asked. We won’t know until the exhibition game, but Dorka is in my starting 5.At least today she is. That might change between now and then.
