I don't believe the app works with chromecast. But you can cast your screen from your phone or tablet to the chromecast. It might be jumpy and very pixelated but it should work.

That only works with an ANDROID not the IPHONE.

I Chromecast from my Iphone, but only things like you tube or Spotify that have the Chromecast icon. I'm watching Diaco press conference now on Periscope and I don't see a way to do it easily, but I've never down loaded the Chrome app. (I assume that there is one.)

Yes I have Chromecast app on my IPHONE but I was referring to casting the entire screen to the TV. You can't do that with the IPHONE only the ANDROID.

... and that's different than casting a you tube video full screen, correct? I do that pretty often with TCF15 videos.

So, how about radio? I haven't seen anything about satellite radio broadcast. I'll be driving all through the night. Ct. stations are not an option.
 
Answered my own question. Game Notes on UConn website say Sirius/XM 81.

So with you on this… They're brutal… Dish started removing Sports channels like MSG & SNY years ago… When you called they would continually say that they were in negotiations which wasn't the truth… Don't know anyone that has ever gone from DirecTV to Dish but the reverse happens all the time.

Correct. Chromecast compatible apps like NETFLIX and YouTube allow you to cast the video to the TV instead of the Iphone. I too have watched many of TCF's UCONN games on the big screen via YouTube. But if you have an app like FACEBOOK or a web browser like SAFARI showing a video, you can not use CHROMECAST to send it to the TV on the Iphone.

We've located the AXS truck and are currently working on attaching the feed interceptor to broadcast over the boneyard. Stay tuned.

Thanks John. The feed on Periscope iPhone app is streaming nicely on my iPad. Smaller picture but works great.

  1. Tap the People Tab to find a list of suggested users to follow. Note: The People Tab helps you find interesting people to follow by listing ‘Featured People,’ people you are ‘Following on Twitter’ and ‘Trending’ recent broadcasts.   2. You can search for specific people by:
    • Tapping the People Tab.
    • Tapping the magnifying glass icon on the top left on iOS and bottom right on Android.
    • Entering their name(s) in the search bar. My name would be john_outwar.
  3. To follow anyone, just tap the "+" icon!
  4. When it's near tip off you should get an alert on your phone when I start broadcasting (if you have alerts on for periscope) I will also try to post the direct link on the forums like someone else did but it's tricky and I haven't yet done it so don't rely on it.

I have Cox Cable who doesn't carry AXS TV (had the same problem with Uconn's 2012 Battle 4 Atlantis), so I have to watch the game at a friends place who has Verizon and AXS. The catch is my buddy is a diehard Cuse fan so I have to play nice for a little bit before I start dropping 1 National Title and Bernie Fine jokes. I hope we have a huge lead tonight vs Michigan before I get kicked out of their place.
