AXS TV? Battle for Atlantis Questions...

Well, this sucks. I was hoping to not have to drop money on drinking at the bar for this game. Oh well.

I was confirming that I had AXS last night through Fios. I do. I then spent 25 minutes watching "Just Movie Trailers," which is just what it says... just movie trailers! I couldn't turn it off. Now there are 5 or 6 more movies that I'll say "Oh yeah, I had wanted to see that in the movie theater but never did."

So AXS appears to be a channel to catch movie trailers or college basketball. It's better than some channels I have.

So can you chromecast periscope? I just use the icon thingy but I suspect there's another way to do it.

BTW thanks John!

And Art Mann Presents. A silly show where the host goes to large, primarlily alcohol driven events, around the country. Dumb and juvenile and I love it.

Art Mann has made quite a niche for himself

Art Mann is like the worst host I've ever imagined. He's a lame dad with a microphone, no clue why this guy keeps being paid to host things although it must not be too much money

there is no doubt he is terrible

I have Comcast with sportspackage and pay a ridiculous amount every month to get all of the games and now we don't get this? I hate Comcast, but UCONN should be blamed for not making sure the whole state and all of the cable companies don't have access to the this tourney, which BTW is our first real competition.
Comcast has AXS and the game, at least in Mass they do. Not sure why it would be different else where as long as you have something above standard cable.

You don't really think everyone is running around like chickens with their heads cut off because they forgot to check the lineup carefully, do you? It's not the same in Connecticut.

point taken. guess i can add reason 9,145 as to why i am thrilled to no longer live in CT.

I don't believe the app works with chromecast. But you can cast your screen from your phone or tablet to the chromecast. It might be jumpy and very pixelated but it should work.

That only works with an ANDROID not the IPHONE.

I Chromecast from my Iphone, but only things like you tube or Spotify that have the Chromecast icon. I'm watching Diaco press conference now on Periscope and I don't see a way to do it easily, but I've never down loaded the Chrome app. (I assume that there is one.)

Yes I have Chromecast app on my IPHONE but I was referring to casting the entire screen to the TV. You can't do that with the IPHONE only the ANDROID.

... and that's different than casting a you tube video full screen, correct? I do that pretty often with TCF15 videos.

He's probably a good 10 years younger than me and is getting paid to go to fun events and interview drunk people. Good work Art! I wish i was that lame.

So, how about radio? I haven't seen anything about satellite radio broadcast. I'll be driving all through the night. Ct. stations are not an option.

Answered my own question. Game Notes on UConn website say Sirius/XM 81.

Dish is the absolute worst. Had them for years before Directtv and would never think about going back. Only benefit of dish network for me would be pac12 network.
So with you on this… They're brutal… Dish started removing Sports channels like MSG & SNY years ago… When you called they would continually say that they were in negotiations which wasn't the truth… Don't know anyone that has ever gone from DirecTV to Dish but the reverse happens all the time.

Correct. Chromecast compatible apps like NETFLIX and YouTube allow you to cast the video to the TV instead of the Iphone. I too have watched many of TCF's UCONN games on the big screen via YouTube. But if you have an app like FACEBOOK or a web browser like SAFARI showing a video, you can not use CHROMECAST to send it to the TV on the Iphone.

Thanks. I probably would have spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to get it work.

We've located the AXS truck and are currently working on attaching the feed interceptor to broadcast over the boneyard. Stay tuned.
