They dropped this in their coach search options thread at 7:23 pm yesterday, post #10,579 on page 424. they are now on post #13,501 on page 541. what a glorious 24 hours 🤣
He does do well on that court.
Except that the sides of the road have 12 foot piles making the roads look like a snowmobile course.Yeah, I've lived a bunch of places. Winter is cold and snowy in all of them, including Virginia. It isn't as long, but in the dead of winter, it still sucks. IL, MA, CT, NY, VA, all of them. Yeah, lake effect will dump 3 feet of snow on you in a day at times, but they'll also have that snow removed, and the roads clear in a day.
Yeah, nobody is going to the beach in the winter. Lived 5 minutes from the beach In MA, did not go there in the winter. And Cuse does have those lovely beaches in the summer…..
Maybe a prayer for the former Huskies thinking of their brothers about to play in the tournament like they did.Hurley posted a very cryptic post on Instagram. Probably means nothing but thought I’d share.
It’s a catholic prayer but the message is (I’m paraphrasing) “blessed is the brother who loves his brother as much far away as nearby”
About Luke? Kimani? Bobby? Or just a prayer?
And they have equipment to remove that, too. Which they do, regularly.Except that the sides of the road have 12 foot piles making the roads look like a snowmobile course.
only one way to find out... he and kimani have put in their time, IMO. we've been lucky to have them as long as we have. 2 nattys and whatever their respective records are since they joined hurley, is enough to earn them at least a shot somewhere, now.I saw on the Syracuse board that Luke Murray is a coach SU is considering. I am not sure if they reached out yet. Question for those in the know, is he a great recruiter, can he motivate and develop players? I understand he built UCONN offense but he works under Hurley who seems to be the great motivator. Can Luke do all of the other parts of a head coaching job or is he best served as an asset like Chris Daley?
Ya missed the sarcasmYeah, nobody is going to the beach in the winter. Lived 5 minutes from the beach In MA, did not go there in the winter.
And I know I was often making the 4.5 hour trip to the beach when I was in VA. FYI, that state while not huge, is significantly larger than CT.
Unfortunate. I really enjoyed rooting for them. All I can say is that my money is on Gavin Doty and Francis Folefac being starters at Syracuse next year.
Siena is one of those MAAC programs with fantastic fan/booster/leadership support, so I can see the team taking a smaller bump in the road than other mid-majors with their coaches heading to high-major jobs.Unfortunate. I really enjoyed rooting for them.
The new Syracuse AD was introduced today. He is the former AD at Toledo. Wants to weaponize the Dome for wins and NIL.
Scheyer recruiting GMac to the ACC lol
You sure. I bet he could get them to 6th or 7th in the Acc which would be a major improvementHow can McNamara not be the frontrunner after yesterday?
He'd have to take the job for money and nostalgia reasons, but nothing is going to revive that irrelevant, moribund program.
Better jobs/programs in the ACC right now: Duke, UNC, Virginia, Louisville, NC State, Miami...should I continue...How can McNamara not be the frontrunner after yesterday?

Major improvement, sure. Still wouldn't be relevant either in the ACC or nationally. You sure. I bet he could get them to 6th or 7th in the Acc which would be a major improvement
The only thing they are known for is a big arena.Major improvement, sure. Still wouldn't be relevant either in the ACC or nationally.
Maybe the occasional 4 seed and second weekend appearance. Think in the category of a Creighton, Clemson, Oklahoma, Maryland. Programs you've heard of, but aren't going out of your way to tune into and not really giving another thought unless you're playing them.
So should he stay at Sienna? I don’t understand the point here.Major improvement, sure. Still wouldn't be relevant either in the ACC or nationally.
