This changes everything. UConn just got a whole lot better. Griff must stay healthy and its gonna be really tuff for UConn to lose a game now as long as everybody stays healthy. Now we wait for Caroline. Im hoping for this season but maybe because its so late in the season she comes back next season which would be a huge addition with Paige graduating. Think about it.

So very happy for her. My entire family have been big Aubrey fans since we saw her play at Walsh against Seton Hall as a freshman. She was incredible that game. Tonyc is right. Assuming she is healthy and even 85%, it gives us a smart rebounder, defender and junk player. It can be a game changer. Think about that press now!

Too bad they didn't announce it yesterday, I think there would have been many changes in the Prognostications that were submitted. On second thought I'm happy they waited, less work for me.:D

Excited to have AG back but no idea how long it will take for her to be really back. Caroline ain’t returning (imo). And Aubrey or no, this team will still be a double digit underdog at SC.

It may have been a game day decision...

I am so happy for AG and her family, and the Huskies! Very nice scoring 84 points in the first 3 quarters while holding the opponents to 26 points (better than tripled up!!!)

It is looking good for a run to the Next NC ==> run for #12!

Go Huskies!!!

If they play like this against SC it's a toss up on who wins.
I beg to differ! If they could play like this against SC, they would surely win! However, they can’t play like this against SC because SC won’t let them. I think we will be a big underdog in Columbia.

We definitely can win that game, but everything is going to have to go our way for a change. If we are fortunate enough to win though, it will certainly bear no resemblance to this game unless they blow us out!

If we can stand up against their pressure and avoid foul trouble, we will at least have a fighting chance. We must avoid their usual devastating run at the beginning of the game that often demoralizes the other team and essentially puts the game out of reach. Dawn will have them snorting fire as they come out of the tunnel!

I guess after all that, you are right! We are going to have to play our best in order to have a chance at winning what will, almost certainly, be a brutal, hard fought game that, if we win, will likely be a five point, or less, mov. I suppose that’s exactly a “toss up”. Sorry!:D I see now that brevity is a virtue!

Aubrey gives them another consistent defender and rebounder. Against the likes of South Carolina they she will help on the defensive side of the ball because she can actually defend good D1 players and the person she likely would replace is going to struggle mightily in those matchups. Her offense could help but to me she could score very little and be a huge difference in the game.

Another major benefit to Aubrey is she is long, much longer than any other player closing out on off ball three point shooters. Yesterday early on UConn was on fire on offense but they have up a bunch of open threes that ended up being misses. The top teams aren't going to miss those so at some point defending them will be vital to moving on.

Aubrey looked real good in her limited minutes. Going up high with her long arms and pulling down a rebound, and that fast break was a deja vu of days past. A few moments later, she was also streaking down the court ahead of the pack, but didn't get the pass. Speaking of jumping up, Jana actually won the opening tap and sent it to a teammate.

Next to PB, Aubrey is my favorite UConn player. When I saw that she entered the game my allergy's acted up all of a sudden.
