Excited to have AG back but no idea how long it will take for her to be really back. Caroline ain’t returning (imo). And Aubrey or no, this team will still be a double digit underdog at SC.This changes everything. UConn just got a whole lot better. Griff must stay healthy and it’s gonna be really tuff for UConn to lose a game now as long as everybody stays healthy. Now we wait for Caroline. Im hoping for this season but maybe because it’s so late in the season she comes back next season which would be a huge addition with Paige graduating. Think about it.
If they play like this against SC it's a toss up on who wins.Excited to have AG back but no idea how long it will take for her to be really back. Caroline ain’t returning (imo). And Aubrey or no, this team will still be a double digit underdog at SC.
It may have been a game day decision...Too bad they didn't announce it yesterday, I think there would have been many changes in the Prognostications that were submitted. On second thought I'm happy they waited, less work for me.![]()
I beg to differ! If they could play like this against SC, they would surely win! However, they can’t play like this against SC because SC won’t let them. I think we will be a big underdog in Columbia. If they play like this against SC it's a toss up on who wins.
I see now that brevity is a virtue! This team plays with great joy. Both teams and fan reaction to her return very special...videos are great right down to ironic big hug from Ducharme.Next to PB, Aubrey is my favorite UConn player. When I saw that she entered the game my allergy's acted up all of a sudden.
I believe this is her 5th (maybe 6th) year with the team. Even with injuries that's a lot of experience. What I saw that I thought will play big dividends is that Aubrey seemed to really stabilize the second unit. She was directing traffic and in the middle keeping the ball moving from side to side.

56 point lead. 2:45 left iin the game. Coach A is encouraging Q to close up the huddle. As Jana said, "Emphasizing the details".Coach A![]()
I'm sure you have macros, formulas, and short-cuts already set up in Excel, and all you have to do is push a button and the spreadsheet spits all the results out!!Too bad they didn't announce it yesterday, I think there would have been many changes in the Prognostications that were submitted. I think Aubrey on the court with Sarah, in addition to Paige and Azzi is quite possible. That could be as a 3/4 combo for Aubrey and Sarah, or as a 4/5 pairing. A little bit small ball, but still with pretty good rebounding and shot blocking has Aubrey at the 4 and Sarah at the 5. In that case you could have Paige at the 3, Azzi at the 2, and Kaitlin or KK at the point.Aubrey‘s return is great, but I’m wondering how line-up will work in some key scenarios. Aubrey is a key piece for rebounds and defense when playing taller aggressive teams. Would the big 3 (Paige, Azzi and Sarah) and Aubrey ever be on court at same time? If so, who would be player #5- it wouldn’t be a center but a ball handler, right? You wouldn’t sit Sarah just to have Aubrey in- Sarah is much more skilled even if a freshman- unless Aubrey’s minutes would be to give Sarah some rest. Would Aubrey then come in while Azzi or Paige sat for a rest? Jana (or Ice) plus Sarah and Aubrey at same time gives good rebounding, but except for Sarah, the other two aren’t strong on offense. Maybe Paige and Azzi plus those 3 (Jana, Sarah and Aubrey) would be okay to try, but then Paige or Azzi are running offense- teams could slack off on covering Aubrey and Jana- less offense but might be necessary for teams killing UConn on the boards. If Jana develops more game over rest of season, this will help tremendously- but she is freshman and returning from injury, so I’m not sure she will gain much more this year. Hope I’m wrong about her though
