No, Natalie will still have three years of eligibility. She only played one year at Georgetown.

She will play 2015-16, 16-17, 17-18. Graduation in 2018, as Milford indicated.

I am disappointed but not surprised........I was hoping that Durr would come UConn's way , but after UConn's early signings of highly ranked pg's and wings for 2014 and 2015 I thought it might have a negative effect. The same type thing happened when UConn signed Stewie , Mo , and Morgan.

But on the other hand I am glad and happy Geno got the 2014 and 2015 class he did..... Heck , if he had passed on any one in those classes hoping for Durr , she might have still written off the Huskies.... Reminds me of the old saying a bird in hand is better than 2 in the bush.

And I think the 'birds' he signed are going to soar very high over the next 4 years.

GO HUSKIES!

I'm sad that we are not in her final 5 as she is a great player and could have become a legend at UConn but in reality if she would have come, there would have not been enough playing time for players such as Williams, Nurse, EK and Edwards not to mention Chong.
UConn got an amazing team for 2015-16 even without Durr and will be considered as a front runner for the National Championship that season.

Well dang.

Durr go anywhere besides Maryland. :p Don't wanna put up with you in the B1G.

Bummer. She's gonna be a great one. Would have loved to seen her at UCONN. A bit understandable though with the wealth of guards at UCONN over the next couple years.

However, Samuelson, Collier and Boykin make a helluva class.

On T'ea Cooper's site, she has a section called Latest News and under that they have a folder "True Athelite Of The Month". If I was so self promoting, I would surely make sure that I or whoever does the site was spelling the word Athlete appropriately. It suggests that maybe you should spend a little more time focused on insuring that you are putting your best foot forward.

Maybe it is not a spelling error but has something to do with The Athelite Sports Training Academy.

Notre Dame is going to be absolutely loaded if she comes to South Bend:
2015-16 Roster:
C-Taya Reimer (2013 #4 recruit)
F- Brianna Turner (2014 #2 recruit)
F-Jewel Loyd (2012 Top 5 recruit)
G-Asia Durr (2015 Top 2 recruit)
G-Lindsey Allen (Sr)
Bench:
Michaela Mabrey (Sr)
Marina Mabrey (2015 Top 20 recruit)
Kathryn Westbeld (2014 #21 recruit)

That would be good - have some serious competition (for a change)

Ok, the class of 2015 is finished, with 3 stellar forwards/wings.

For 2016, my wish list:

At least 1 of Dangerfield or Ionescu.

At least 1 of Cox, McCoy, or Holmes.

Possibly Boley or Chou.

I think we need at least 2 kids; I'd prefer 3+.
I'd be happy with that.

.-.
That would not be pleasant. A hypothetical trio of the freshman Durr, the Sophomore Turner, and the senior LLoyd, might just be NC-worthy.
Close, but no cigar. Just ask TonyC.

yeah you can't get them all....... Good luck Asia wherever you end up

I am convinced ND had a streak against us because they had superstar quality and we lacked that..... now I think we cannot be beaten with our lineup and our coaching staff.... perhaps a slip up here or there.... but when the money is down we will come to the table

and I love the looks of Dangerfield..... hope she comes to us

Since I'm totally unfamiliar with the above mentioned training academy, there is a real likelihood that you are right. My bad!!!!!!!!

It never made much sense for her to come to Uconn. Baylor, Notre Dame and Duke seem most likely given the openings at point guard. Even if she goes to Notre Dame we will still win the NC but it won't be a blowout.

I think if Baylor can land Durr that a highly ranked post player will followin in 2016, hopefully Cox.

Who will be our point when Mo graduates in two years? Too soon to tell? Ideas?

Had the feeling it wasn't going to be us after listening to her dad on that video. He said that she would be good no matter where she played and that academics are important. The family just felt Notre dame to me after watching the interview. False or not perception is top basketball there and a great education, where as when thinking uconn some people think top basketball average education. ......right or wrong.

Interesting that South Carolina isn't given a shot at beating UCONN.

how it is a bigger loss for TN? both TN and UCONN are loaded with guards/wings. i don't know of one lady vol fan who really thought TN led for her. it was a foregone conclusion that she was headed elsewhere, especially after Cooper and Diamond chose orange. however, i am really shocked that UCONN was not at least in her top 5. i honestly thought she was headed to CT. shows how much i know. ha.

best of luck to her. she's the real deal. i do think this helps UCONN land Dangerfield.

Bigger loss for the Lady Vols then UConn. Have to wonder if Te'a Cooper's verbal led to Asia deciding not to consider the Lady Vols. Has any1 seen this? http://www.teacooper.com/ Look who is the sponsor of the site.

Dunno, but there was certainly some fan chatter about Durr at one time on the Summitt and on Volnation just as there was here.
At any rate, done is done and we all move on....

Haha. BY is so worked up from off-season self congratulation and basking in recruiting success that NOBODY is given a shot at beating UCONN, regardless of the graduation of our 2 senior All Americans. The, "Hope ND doesn't get her" [Durr] sentiment is at least evidence that some might be concerned that another great coach with the right group of great athletes might at least pose a threat to the 195-game winning streak at some point.
