Around the NCAA - Weekend of 12/21

Interesting that UCLA has no McDonald's All Americans for the first time since they started the McD game in 1977. That's a heck of a streak.

Yes, but thet've got 23 year old Prince Ali, 5th year senior, shooting 19% from 3, and averaging a shade under 10ppg.

odd that players seem to have had their offensive confidence disappear at the same time mick started coaching. what could it be?

tbh though the most shocking part is how horrific they are on D right now. 200th in DEff

GT is also terrible. Syracuse beat them by 35...
dont understand your point
UH is a really good team and GT's strength or lack of had not been addressed in my post

i feel so so bad for them, i really do.

poor mick, he has like 6 top 80 recruits. that's clearly not enough to beat a power like cal state fullerton.

We got killed by the worse team in the A10 By far. What does that mean other than we stunk out the place that night.
Comparative scores are typically a bad gauge ,this year they’re beyond stupid.
Ie . NJIT lost to Dartmouth by 5 and Dartmouth beat Cinncy at Cinncy.
So since we killed them we should have no trouble handling Cinncy.
Some how I don’t think it’s going to be that simple.

Games don't happen in a vacuum either. If prior games don't matter, then every team has a 50/50 chance of winning every game, right? Or not.

Two great Big East games tonight.

Seton Hall is really good with Powell, and they are especially good defensively. I am not a Willard fan, but they have the talent to make a deep run in March if they get a decent seed.
