pretty good start to a big day for the Big East. Don’t tell palantine or freescooter but the league has 9 teams in the top 70. And the Fox broadcast and production is just light years ahead of ESPN.

Well, to be the best (again) you have to beat the best. UConn will have to challenge this Nova team for top of the BE starting next year, at least lets hope. Looking forward to many solid matchups with Nova, the cream of the crop in the BE, starting next year it gets real!

Jay is an amazing coach but seeing as they will be a key rival (again) starting next year, don't expect much love starting soon .

Amazing win for Nova, UConn has their hands full in a few weeks. I wonder / (hope) Hurley had the kids tuned into this game to see and learn.

Why Kansas won't win the championship:

* Championship teams need lead guards and I'm not convinced Dotson is the lead guard to lead a championship team.

* FT problems.

On another note, great home win by Wichita State over VCU. This team has played well even before Echenique returned from injury and now they are even more dangerous with him in the lineup. Not sure how long Dexter Dennis will be out for his indefinite leave of absence, but this team is deep.
